Oh, it was more meant as a kudos towards the other artists. There are some really great drawings among the list. It does surprise me how much art you can put into stick figures, though, I didn't think that possible.

Indeed, I really enjoyed this week, more than I have for a long time.

I'm glad to read that! As a beneficiary of your work and ideas, it's good to know that you enjoy it so you continue 😝 All kidding aside, I'm happy that you enjoyed it. Your effort should be rewarded with at least that.

I don't enjoy posts that people punch out with no effort just in the hope they get a bigger votes if curation from me. (Hint, they don't.) I'd actually rather people don't get involved if their heart isn't in it. Still, I can't dictate what people do, just support those who I feel have put in some effort. Enjoying it is a big factor though, because when I don't, I will stop.

What's the percentage of those doing that? Roughly and subjective answer is fine. I counted 36 entries to the last challenge until the site stopped reloading, but that was only the hashtag. 14 are highlighted, which would be quite a good result.

I'm not sure because those not capturing my attention quickly are quickly forgotten so I don't have the data you seek, certainly a few though.

It's kind of dumb really, people come along drop a post they took little time and effort to make in the hope for a vote and curation and then disappear. I don't expect them to actually engage with me during the week on my own posts but those who do end up getting far more votes from me, as you can attest to personally. The whole concept is about engagement not dropping a post fkr a vote. Many people doing understand I guess, or are lazy, entitled fuckers.

I do see that a lot now, as I'm a little longer on the platform. So many people engaging only on the contests and topics given by the group. I prefer the authentic content, where someone comes up with an idea for an article and just writes it. I do look at the other community engagement topics, but they're usually not that engaging in the way they're conceptualized, at least to me.

Ironically, I got stuck on yours through someone who does participate in many of those. And she sometimes writes some really good stuff, even out of poor topics.
