The same thing happens to me, my friend @galenkp in spite of my elaborated routine that I put into practice after seeking professional help and not having to take sleeping pills ,it is what I do to be able to relax.

It is my limitation or my strength, but I usually think too much with too much my mind does not stop and among the recommendations is not to go to bed until you are not sleepy so while that happens I do the tea, reading a book, a warm bath, until I go to bed, and I say "Janitze to sleep you must rest" I turn off my night lamp and I sleep it has not been easy, but it is working for me.

I sometimes think to much as I said earlier, but I like what you say here...It is both a strength and a limitation and has been good and bad for me. Clearly you understand.
