Dying of starvation is said to be a terrible and lingering death which I guess we can't understand until it's happening to us. I'm not sure if I'd resort to cannibalism, I haven't thought about it at length, however death is a permanent condition...I guess a person would have to determine what they had to live for.

It must be very desperate for a person to starve, a mentally healthy person could start eating himself before eating another person, but I guess the person loses their sanity when they are starving. God help us, I hope that never happens to humanity
I hope it never happens to anyone, but we know it has and we know how people have dealt with starvation...There's many stories of sailors lost at sea or washed up on deserted islands...A human's desire to survive is strong. Let's just hope, if it happens to us, there's pizza and arepas and burgers and stuff like that close by. :)
I hope that one day there will be no more hunger in the world, but if a person is in such a situation on an island, I hope that at least that person will find coconuts. Blessings
