If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. And If it's your job to eat two frogs, it's best to eat the biggest one first.

MOVE ON YOU WANKER (1).jpg

Have you ever wondered about what life-regrets you might have when you're old and withered and close to death? What things you should have done, places you should have gone, people you should have loved and treated better, risks you should have taken, kindness you should have displayed, gratitude you should have shown?

If you have, and want to avoid regrets later in life, then do something about it now.

We're well into the sixth year of the weekend-engagement topic concept and it's really cool to see a few people come back every week and join in. If you'd like to get involved with the #weekend-engagement topics as hosted in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community then read below, and I hope you all have a great weekend.

Oh I missed this one..boo!

That's ok, I can only assume you had other things to do, it happens.

Haha that's true dear twain, first duty then the joy, or let's just eat the shit first...

Hmm it's my opinion that should I come to Australia, @galenkp should do the touristic guide for me🤣

Lot of freedom in that topics

If you come here I'll give you some good ideas on what to do and where to go. Free tourist guide.

I would like to come one day really, for now it's too many hours for a kid (if I don't remember wrong my colleague took like 20h or so) and Mexico being 12ish hours was very tough for us adults when we went there before he was born

Yep, it's many hours from Europe to here. When I fly out it's 7 hours to Singapore, a 6 hour layover, then 13-14 hours to France or Italy. A long time.

Yeah more than a full day... My colleague did Milano -> Dubai, some hours wait then Dubai -> Sydney

Brutal amount of time to be in a plane.

I always prefer to eat the branch as soon as possible, then the lighter and more delicious food will come...

I wonder if someone I love can be non-human... can they?

Interesting topics, I think I already have mine. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and don't have to work!

I wonder if someone I love can be non-human... can they?

I was hoping people would choose people because choosing pets is too easy and has been done to death.

You're absolutely right, as long as they're people, perfect!

Regrets are something that often haunt me. They pop up when I least expect them and then I have to remind myself "why am I thinking about this, that was forever ago and nobody cares!". It's still a dark corner to crawl into sometimes.

Yes, regret doesn't make for a very good companion which is why it's best to think, act and live in a manner that minimises the chance for it to visit.

Hello @galenkp. I was really waiting for the themes to see the one related to the drawing and the essence of it. It exceeded my expectations, but, as I said, it is a challenge and I accept it. A question.
I have three life goals. Should I make three drawings or combine the objectives and make one or two? Happy weekend. Cheers and greetings.

Three drawings of all three in one, your choice. It's not about how good you draw, it's about your goals and what you write. Don't get too caught up on the drawing aspect.

Thank you very much.
It's a great challenge and something different.

We'll see how it all turns out for me.

The most important thing is that I am motivated and I will enjoy the process of creation.

Happy day.

Cheers and greetings

Good stuff! Have a good weekend.

Personal opinions would be brilliant to pontificate over, each having a unique background yet hopeful of similar future.

Wishing All a wonderful weekend, engaging with one another.

Hi Joan, I hope you have a nice weekend too no matter what you're doing.

Some time pottering around the garden, perhaps time on Hive, nice cool weather passing through once again. Have a great weekend!

Darn, I just wrote the post about passion which includes a lot of the reasons for love, so that's too repetitive.

Opinions are interesting. I could do that, more or less a summary of what I throw around on hive, take out the three most controversial opinions and discuss them, essay style. Three opinions might become too long. So I'd have to be concise. Also, it would be repetitive (as already posted about it) or taking away the option for a real and long text in the future.

I really worked on my complaining. It has become less. I'm more solution oriented, at least in the fields that I can influence. About those I can't influence, I don't really feel why it would block my progress. I'll think about it.

Drawing. Now, that's a challenge. I do have to figure out new goals and are still in the process, so this might actually help with that.

Thank you as always!

I set the topics for a reason this week, and hope to see some well thought-out responses to them. I like the drawing ones because it adds another element of thought required although it's not about the drawing, it's about what's written that I do is. The drawing is secondary and often the worse they are the better I like them. I don't like to see people take it too seriously on the drawing topics.

Let's see what you come up with if you get time to do a post.

Yeah!!!!
Another exciting topics we gat here for the week...

Topic one and four are interesting. Little confused on which to take.

The drawing can be a little challenging but I think I know which to go for.

I'm sure you'll overcome your confusion and get down to business at some stage. Good luck.

The good thing about this initiative is that I see several topics, and that gives me the opportunity to choose. But sometimes, like now, I don't know what to do because I like all the topics.

In the second topic, can I share any opinions I understand?
Blessings

Yep, your opinions is what the topic asks for.

Good luck, and have a good weekend.

There are more than one I wanna pick from this option lol.
But let me just stick to one, will be back.

One is plenty, I'm sure you'll choose well.

Beautiful topic, it my first time posting here, I will be talking about someone who is very dear to my heart. I hope I will be welcomed.

I'm sure it'll be welcomed if it complies with the guidelines.

very awesome topic 👍🏻

For sure.

Yes! I finally made it on time!

It seems weekend adventures in the summer get in the way of posting on time for me. I am buckling down to get back to as solid a schedule as I can muster and still pack in all the fun.

Happy weekend folks!

You did, well done.

Wow

Comments to me such as: wow, good, great and so on will only ever get you ignored...or downvoted. I downvoted your comment to make that point.

Thanks for pointing that out. I'm still new here and learning how things work. I really appreciate the feedback — I’ll do better from now on. If you have any tips or advice, I’d be glad to learn

Add passion, personality and effort or you'll get nowhere.

"I understand your point and I appreciate the feedback, but I don’t think I deserved a downvote just for being new and trying. I’m here to learn, not to offend. A bit of guidance would help more than discouragement
