🕢 Slow or fast - A Very Busy and Worrying Weekend

Good evening everyone. I hope you had a nice weekend. There is an eclipse coming in a few minutes, but the moon here has been hidden by the big clouds. They don't want me to see that wonder.

I am almost at the end of Sunday. Around here it was a very busy and worrying weekend; my sister @vickvelasquez is back, as she is in poor health and here, together with my mother, we will see how we can help her.

This week's topics have been quite specific, and it was a bit difficult to choose one of them. In the end I decided for the last one.

Have you ever wished time would move more slowly, or quickly? When and why?

Perhaps I have often wished that time would move faster than normal. And just now I wish that would happen. I don't like to think about death, but I know it's imminent, something we can't avoid. Of course, knowing that death will come doesn't mean I'm prepared for it, which is quite frustrating.

Right now at home we are going through a worrying situation, my sister's health. At the moment she is suffering from many things; advanced urinary infection, gastritis, and a respiratory infection, which if the doctors are right, would be diagnosed as pulmonary fibrosis.

All these ailments have made my sister move from Maracay (11 hours of travel) to my city Cumaná. This has been with the purpose of helping her. My father is 3 hours away but helping monetarily. We have had to go to an aunt to help us, since the medicines are very expensive and besides that in the hospital the patient must bring almost all his medical supplies to be treated. Crazy, isn't it?

My desire for time to move faster is with the intention of knowing if my sister will survive all this, if her respiratory infection is just that and not pulmonary fibrosis, because if so, that disease has no cure. I want to have a quick diagnosis, to know what will happen in a couple of months after she finishes her treatment and if she will be able to recover completely.

I don't think I would want to stop time, or go back to some time in my life. However, my desire for now is to make the time move faster to know the results of all this journey that we are living at home.
