I remember reading some of this in Throwback Thursday, and loved it at the time as much as I do now as more details come to mind. That part where you get his words and the tears in your eyes were inevitable is beautiful and says a lot about you. Not everyone has the talent to teach, let alone senior citizens. You not only have the talent, but the patience and love that is required, and it is something that sometimes is discovered with practice, you are one of those teachers that life was building little by little.
