This morning I didn't feel much like going outside, on Sundays I prefer to stay at home all day. However, this time I was not at my house but visiting my parents-in-law's. My little girl, who is always so full of energy, at all hours, started to insist that I take her out to the park.

Every time we come to visit my in-laws, her father and I take her to the park. Here the parks are larger and much better kept than where we live. She always finds something entertaining to do or some kid to play with, it's her favorite entertainment. Today even though I was feeling a little lazy, just to please her, we got dressed and went out.

As we are in spring, it is normal at this time of the year to see an explosion of flowers and greenery everywhere. And the sky always with its beautiful blue tone 💙, so I cheered up a bit when we left the house.

Although the winter season is over in Cuba and it has started to get warmer, the days are still cool. Cubans live complaining about the heat all year round, and then, when the few months of winter arrive, what we most wish for is the arrival of summer 🤦🏻. These days, the temperatures are not cold, but not too hot either, and it feels very pleasant.

I took my little girl to Lennon Park, here on one of the benches there is a sculpture of the famous The Beatles singer-songwriter. It always catches my little girl's attention because the statue looks like just another person, sitting on a bench in the park, enjoying the day. Every time we come here she insists that I take a picture of her next to the statue.

After a while a group of tourists arrived to visit and take pictures with Lennon, they almost always arrive in large groups, transported in the classic cars that are rented for tours of Havana. These cars are very striking, I love the colors they have. So I approached them and, while the tourists were amused by the John Lennon sculpture and the drivers were chatting, I took several pictures of them.

As the vegetation was in full bloom I kept taking pictures of the trees in the park while my little girl was having fun playing ball with a group of kids that she got to know.

As always, when it was time to leave, she wanted to continue playing. Luckily, the rest of the mothers took the kids because it was getting close to lunchtime, so this time I didn't have to take her away under protest.

In the end I was glad I went out, I was entertained and came back home less tired than I was when I left, and the best thing is that I managed to keep my little girl entertained for a few hours, a somewhat complicated task sometimes.
