Hello dear weekend experience community, this is my first post in this community because I am very eager to tell you how my weekend went.

Just so you know me a little bit I live in Venezuela, exactly in Margarita Island and although I am relatively close to the beach I never or almost never go there. The reasons, well most of the time I have spent working, even on weekends.

Since about 15 days ago (I think) I quit my job (which was super exploitative) and I have dedicated myself to personal things, but I have also decided to go to the beach a lot.

So since last weekend and this weekend I have been going to the beach with my family. Today we also decided to go, and we went to Pampatar a very popular beach in my beautiful island.

The water is amazing, almost no waves and the last few times I have been there it has been crystal clear. I went with my mom, my aunt, my cousin and my sister. Although going to Pampatar may seem like an odyssey because of how far away we live the truth is worth it.

Besides, lately it has been so hot that the only thing it provokes is to be on the beach. After taking two buses we arrived at the beach around 1:30pm and from there we ate and of course we went straight to the water.

We ate, laughed, played, and stayed there until 4pm since we were going back by bus, so we had to leave very early. On the way back home we also took two buses and we were already pretty tired.

We arrived home around 5pm, and you may think it was an express trip, the truth is that we had a great time, we had fun and enjoyed the immensity of the beach, the sun, the sand, and swimming a lot, which I really needed.

Tomorrow, which is Sunday, I have to go to the market and stop early, but my favorite days will still be by the sea.

Pd: I was so happy that I didn't take so many pictures and I have to buy new swimsuits hahaha.
