The Conversation: Three Things about Me That Will Interest You

Going through the proposed topics for the week on the weekend experience community, I was quick to take note of this particular topic.
Just like every other person, there are things about me that will interest anyone who gets to meet me at least for the first time. I may not have traveled on a plane before, but I see myself doing that especially as it is a part of what I'm writing about.

Me

Discussing things about me that will interest people, I think what I'll say is mostly based on other people's observations who have stayed with me for sometime. Some things I didn't consider seriously was brought to my notice as interesting by people who have stayed with me for sometime.

If I am to start a conversation on a plane about myself, I think the first thing I'll talk about is that I love being charismatic in a positive way. I have come to realise this about myself coupled with how much people talk about me wanting to influence people around me. I love it when I come in to a new environment or setting and effect some significant level of impact with great influence on people. I have always had a way of doing this that I sometimes I will begin to wonder how I was able to do that. The funny thing is that those I influence would sometimes tell me how I had influenced them. I think this is largely due to my self carriage and reserved nature which most time has endeared me to people. This has made it possible that wherever I go, people are forced to want to get close to me since I hardly go with the multitude. They'll want to know why I tend to be different, and when those come close enough, they can not help but become influenced by me. It has really helped me manage different kinds of people in a positive way.

Another Interesting thing about me is my love for adventure. Starting from when I was a child, I loved doing what most of my peers dreaded doing. I would go to places highly talked about as dreaded just to see for myself what I heard people say about such places. Even though it was not entirely a good trait, I somehow grew up with it. Even now as an adult, whenever a thing is highly talked about, I would go and do my self observation and confirmation just to prove what has been said. This quality help me in no small way as a student. I could easily uncover errors in academic works, assignments and projects especially when working with fellow students.

I must say that I am also being careful of not going extreme on this trait. Of course, I got my share of loses especially as an inquisitive child some years back when I wasn't properly guided.

I also love meeting new people but making a few friends. I hardly make people my friend even though I enjoy building relations. My observant nature would not easily allow me make friends especially with what I have seen people do to others who were too open for friendship. I have always believed that a few right friends are enough for me. This too has been brought to my notice by people who were observant enough. It has also disconnected me from people, especially the entitled ones. Some thinks it is trust issues but I don't think it is so. Being careful has always been a part of me.
