Micro Management
I have had a lifetime of working with an overbearing micro managing asshole boss. The FMC$A is a bloated government bureaucracy. Note the dollar sign where the letter S should be. Like any tyrannical government agency. It is all about the money. They promote $afety. But as you can see. $afety is also all about the money. They might think they are the boss. But they are just a bunch of micro penis managers.
The DOT (department of Transportation) constantly puts me under a microscope. I have gone thru many "inspections." I have had an inspection officer crawl into my truck cab and start rummaging thru my personal belongings. I have had them inspect the load in my trailer. They have pulled me over a pit and inspected the underneath of my truck. I have to drive into scale houses and checkpoints more times in a daily 600 mile drive than a boar hog has tits.
Landstar is the "Non Asset" based big corporate transportation company that I lease my Prime Mover to haul for. Non asset is a fancy way of saying they do not own anything so they can escape liability and losses. They have given me many awards and safety gifts over the 28 years I have spent with them. Like any big corporate entity. They have some pros and cons.
My wife @pooky-jax lets me drive it like I stole it. She is my enabler and I blame her for pretty much everything that happens in this business. Good and Bad. In sickness and in health. That was in the contracts fine print. Not the lease contract with Landstar. The marriage vows contract we signed verbally in front of a priest while we were undergoing our exorcism reciting our marriage vows.
So by now you are either scrolling on to the next Hivonians postings or you are attached to this riveting textual download of just who in the fucksake is large and in charge of micromanaging ol' @krazzytrukker ? The only person I will answer to is this guy...
I am self employed. An owner who operates the equipment himself. In fact I do almost all of the repairs and maintenance. I pay all the costs associated with this also. I am the HR department. I am in charge of payroll and almost every week I fire myself for insubordination of one kind or another. Monday rolls around and the rehiring process begins all over again. Really I am an awesome boss to work for. I suffer from a severe case of OCD that makes me second guess every little fucking thing I do. So this would be a form of micromanagement I guess? What do You All think?
Thanks for riding along with this overbearing control freak micromanaging KrazzyTrukker!!
