Hi amazing members of @weekend experience,I’m happy to share with us why I would assist someone being assaulted in the streets
Years back I was a victim ……I went to a boarding school for my secondary school …from Js1 to Ss3 so after my js3 we were supposed to go back home and spend few months before resuming for our senior secondary school
At this point most kids were still going to school and all so I was the only one at home most of the time
On a faithful Friday my parents went to work and my siblings had already gone to school…I was supposed to cook before they got back so they can eat and relax from all the stress of the day, when I wanted to start cooking I noticed that we were out of some ingredients which were essential for the meal I wanted to prepare that day
I called my mom and she told me to get them from a close by supermarket….
I went and I got them but on my way coming back …I was walking through a lonely road and a young man called me
I was so scared because my parents had already told me to be very careful and all So I just greeted him and continued going my way but he kept on following me😔I was all alone and there was no one to help me 😔he came really close to me and collected everything I was holding and he started dragging me to follow him to his house I started crying and begging him to help me but he refused 💔he dragged me to his house and on reaching there …there was a very pretty lady in front of his house and she saw what was going on a decided to call for help She shouted and raised alarm and people came and I was rescued from this man
After having a terrible experience I would never pass and see someone else in this situation and not help or call for help
We are all made in God’s image and we are all one so anytime we see or hear that our fellow brother or sister is in danger we should not hesitate to extend a helping hand or call for help
Thank you so much for your time❤️I hope you would also extend a helping hand if you see someone in need of it thank you❤️
