Hello my dear Hive friends, it is a pleasure to greet you. I share with you my emotional weekends full of visits from family who were outside the country. For 5 years now, practically without seeing and sharing with them for reasons that they emigrated from Venezuela due to the economic crisis, a sad episode for each of the Venezuelans who have had to leave their nation to other borders and where families have been distanced; But since God is good, this year we were once again able to see those people with whom we shared part of life.
With migration, each Venezuelan was able to live the experience of seeing our relatives leave for other lands, other countries in search of a better quality of life and for those who left to give it to their relatives in some way or another. This brought relief to the economy of many who remained here in Venezuela but painful consequences in their homes; such as not seeing that loved one every day and not spending special dates with them, those moments of gathering as a family in the patio of some house are over; Also many marriages were divided, each following the course of their existence without who was their partner "their partner", this also wreaked havoc on our youngest "our children" and stop counting... But how life It moves based on seasons, at this time it was possible to somehow share with some of those relatives who one day had to pack suitcases and take a trip with a passport to other places. The first person who arrived from Colombia to Venezuela was my cousin Lissette in November of last year; but even so we had not had the opportunity to meet and hug each other; Then in this month of March my uncle Tulio (my mother's brother) came to the house along with other cousins who were here in Venezuela-Maracaibo to give us a big hug again.
One of the things my mother longs for in her heart is to share again with her siblings who are still alive; She really missed her older brother Tulio, who was always like a father to them and was always so attentive to my grandmother, grandfather and all of her siblings when they were little. And well, at this time, that great moment occurred after 5 years outside the country that both brothers met again, a moment full of tears, hugs, kisses and catching up on each other's lives.
Not everything was left there! Since days later my girls' father also arrived in the country, who also has the same amount of time outside Venezuela as my uncle Tulio. My girls had the opportunity to share with their father after so much time in other borders and many kilometers away. At home, together with my girls, we prepared some nice posters to receive him and which he will later take as a souvenir with the two girls' little hands painted with him.
His time with the girls was filled with many gifts that he brought in his suitcase, as well as outings between them to enjoy this relationship between father and daughters. It was also a good time for them to be able to go out, walk and enjoy themselves since they had some time without doing it due to the economic factor. So, it was a good time to strengthen family ties and leisure and recreation for them.
They really had a great time during the days their dad was in Venezuela visiting the Sambil shopping center in our city of Maracaibo, between arcade games, jumping jacks, inflatables, ice cream, candy and others, added to the number of gifts, like a dinner at McDonald's where they came home very happy with their happy meal and the gift they bring inside.
I have always been very clear that ties are cared for no matter what; So after so long without sharing my girls with their father figure they were able to do it, especially my eldest daughter who has always longed for her parents to be together again; Although the story is another where each one is on her side, the important thing is that they feel that we are both there for both of them in their journey through life.
Her visit also allowed us to have the experience of looking for our oldest girl at school, for the teacher to meet her father, and for our oldest daughter to feel happy to have experienced something that she had wanted for so long, something that other classmates have had the opportunity to experience. have their parents at school.
To conclude, this content arrived on the day where each of our relatives had to return to the country where they currently reside. The first was my girls' father, after looking for her at school, he said goodbye to them and days later my uncle Tulio along with the grandson who came to the country with him.
Those weeks were beautiful moments for everyone. For Venezuelans, migration has been a hard blow, but we maintain faith and hope that the day will come when the planes will return loaded with all those people who one day had to leave and the families will be unified again, restored and there will be times of peace. sharing better than so many years ago.
