Losing control

Hi, here I am responding to Galenkp's weekend commitment. I wanted to share some thoughts that my husband and I discuss at home.

I believe that society is indeed losing control. This statement is based on the loss of values that have long been generating many of the issues that afflict us today. My husband and I talk about these almost daily. Sometimes it even feels difficult to determine what are the common standards by which we should live our lives.

As children we are taught some of them by our parents and others we learn in school and over the years. I do not believe that what is well learned should be so easily forgotten. It doesn't matter where you come from, and I mean he and I were born in different environments, he in the countryside and I in the city, and yet our parents taught us to have similar standards of behaviour, of good people.

I remember that not a day went by when we were taught something new, which we later reaffirmed in schools, and thanks to them we were governed by values such as honesty, Something that many people are currently missing. Some people I know agree that we are experiencing a crisis of values.

We, as parents, have also been passing on these common standards to our daughters, including respect and love for all human beings without distinction, as well animals and nature in general.

My husband and I talk a lot about the proliferation of social indiscipline, delinquency, lies, false morals, hatred... these are things that threaten the proper functioning of societies.

We live in times of globalisation and the development of science and technology. The misuse of social networks has led to a deterioration in the sense of respect. To the point of provoking hatred between peoples, inciting wars that destroy entire societies.

Every day I come home complaining that some people no longer seem to have any idea how to behave in a social environment. The simple act of saying good morning when arriving at a place where there are more people is often omitted. We blame it on the economic crisis in the country today, and not only in our country. We say that these shortages and needs have led to people's insensitivity to the many concerns they have. Is this the problem? What do you think?

I think we must do something about it, and for that, we can rely on teachers, families and even the Internet, if we use it well, in order to save society from its own destruction.

Society is all of us, it is me, it is you. We can never forget that from the moment we are born we have commitments, duties and rights to our societies that we have to fulfil, from whatever position we are in.

Will we be able to re-establish its course?

I totally agree with what you write, in today's society it seems that we have lost important values such as respect, honesty, good education, care for the environment around us. But we receive those values in our homes and at school, so we must think that there is a serious crisis in families and schools.

We completely agree that family and school are the basis for creating values in our children. Thank you very much for commenting. Best regards.🥰🤗

Happy Birthday to the Hive Blockchain

Thank you very much @ hivebuzz. 🤗😘

That's great @mamani! We're excited to see your progress on Hive! We can't wait to see you achieve this next one!

Everyone is responsible for the things that happen to us, if we all became aware of all this and everyone took responsibility, the world would be a much better place. Excellent @mamani ❤️

Friend, there are few of us who dream of a better future, but you are very right, we are all responsible today and we must make people aware of what they have to do as a society. It was a nice and controversial topic. thank you. I salute you. 😘🤗❤️

It's a great theme and I love it. Hugs!❤️

Certainly, values are being lost faster and faster. My mom and I every time we enter a site we say "Good morning" and nobody responds, but they get mad if you don't say good morning when a couple of seconds ago we said it haha

Excuse me, good morning, sorry, they are almost unheard in society. I don't know at what point they started to get lost, but I hope that someday they will be as common as opening and closing your eyes 😇

I think you have the same experience as me. It is so nice when you meet kind and polite people and so unpleasant when they are rude. How much we will have to do to make it like it used to be. Thank you friend, for your comment. Greetings to you and your mommy. 😘🤗
