Teaching I learn, a passion since childhood

I remember that since I was a child I always liked teaching, I don't know if I was influenced by my parents because they were both educators, the truth is that among my childhood games I remember sitting my little sisters in a little chair doing homework and explaining to them how to add, read and write. Today I am not very clear if for them it was a torture instead of a game, hahahaha, because religiously every afternoon I put them in their chairs to study, I was only 3 years older than one of them, and with respect to the smallest one we were 6 years apart. Since I was 7 years old and at least until I was 12 years old, it was one of my favorite activities.

In fact, my parents gave me a big blackboard with white and colored chalk, it is one of the gifts I remember most from that time, it was like putting the icing on the cake, I had my students, I transformed our playground into a classroom and all I needed was the blackboard to make it more serious.

As the years went by I became interested in law, defending what I considered right and those I believed vulnerable was something that moved me from the core. I got into more than one mess since I was a teenager for being a lawyer as we say in my country, without even having studied, but I could not let an injustice go by, it really burst something inside me and I felt that I could explode if I kept quiet.

So I went to university and enrolled as a lawyer. However, teaching was always with me, in my years of studies I dedicated a lot of time to support my classmates who were doing badly in their studies and I explained different subjects to them so they could pass, transmitting what I knew made me feel good, and when I did not know something I was worried about running to learn it so I could give the most appropriate answer.

I moved between these two passions for a long time, although I didn't realize how passionate I was about teaching until I entered the holistic world. After my law degree, I became interested in the world of natural healing, meditation, consciousness development and all these new age topics. I was trained in different disciplines and everything I was learning in turn, I was teaching it to others, I am definitely one of those people who believe that knowledge should be shared, it is against nature to be stingy with that.

And so I started to give trainings of these methods that I handled, the feeling of joy that gave me to be standing in front of people supporting them in their personal processes and sharing learning is definitely a unique experience, because in all these years I have learned that giving - you receive, teaching - you learn, it is an infallible formula.

I have been nourished a lot that way and now I am a Biodanza teacher and it is something that really excites me because I feel that I took that level of teaching to another level, because I left the rational subject, of thought, to get into the emotional world, of sensations, of the experience, the experience felt in the cells and the movement of the body, and this is definitely another level of learning.

As for the practice of law, I can tell you that I still practice it and I am passionate about it, however I do not feel that it is something I want to dedicate my whole life to and the level of abuses and injustices that we suffer in the country by the same people who are called to safeguard compliance with the laws has disenchanted me for many years, therefore, I feel that the mystique with which I studied at the university has been diluted over the years against the cruel reality that I saw in the exercise of my profession.

However, I feel that I could dedicate myself to teaching these holistic topics until the end of my days, so I definitely recognize it now as what moves and excites me the most at this moment.

@miriannalis How happy I am for you that you are clearly on the path to what makes you happy. You are a great human being and therefore whatever you do, you will do it excellently🌹.

Thank you for these beautiful words. Today I recognize that joy very clearly. I send you a big hug!

Beautiful post! 💜. I totally agree with you! Knowledge should be shared with all those who do not know something, I have always said that you are helping them to learn something new ✨, there are very selfish people in this regard, they do not like to teach others, they prefer insulting or humiliating, before helping, is unfortunate! I'm glad you're one of those who brings something nice to others ✨. Hope God continue blessing you! Greetings ♀️ 🙋🏻.

Yes, there are many people who are mean with knowledge and I don't see the sense in that. Teaching I have found that I am the one who learns, because in each process I find myself in the position to learn something else or to look for answers, to continue investigating, so it ends up becoming a work that you do for others but also benefits yourself.

Thank you for your comment, blessings to you too : )

What I admire about you is that you are always willing to teach what you learn without selfishness. You are a great woman, thank you for always being present, a hug.
