The war began on her 18th birthday... And two years later... Birthday @bugavi

This woman's life has been marked with a special seal since birth...
Victoria was born on February 23, 2004. It was in this year that the new president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, came to power. Who, in addition to having the same name, was also born on February 23!
She was a very active and combative child, sincere and open, who always craved an audience and always wanted to be a star.
She was looking for love and recognition, but Vika was not accepted by her peers at school and was bullied.
She was like an ugly duckling that went through trials and tribulations... and became a beautiful swan.

The day of Vika's 18th birthday came, it was a good holiday and the beginning of adult life, dreams of singing and making dreams come true... but a few hours later the war started! Russia attacked Ukraine... And our life changed radically.
On March 1, 2022, our #TheLongestTrip began...

And now almost two years have passed... There were many adventures, love, disappointment, inspiration and depression... in the life of my daughter, whose life suddenly changed on the day of her 18th birthday. On the eve of my daughter Victoria's birthday, we went on a short trip to Pamukkale. And so we returned to her beloved Kemer one day before this special day. In order to spend her anniversary in a beautiful atmosphere, we rented an apartment in this beautiful villa. Because for my @bugavi, the greatest happiness in life is the beautiful design of the apartment in which she lives.
And so we hoped to live here for 12 wonderful days, in relaxation and happiness. But my post is called: femme fatale birthday!
So, the story begins...

And so we got ready, made masks to look beautiful!
Kemer has become a second home for us. It was the first place we arrived after Hungary. It was a southern fairy tale, exotic and exciting. It was like first love! We walked along the streets of Kemer and admired the orange trees and palm trees, blooming vines...
We took our birthday girl to her favorite places. There we organized several pleasant surprises for her. And she also received a bouquet of beautiful roses from a stranger who wished her success and happiness! It was a fun challenge: all day long to solve this mystery - who is this gallant man? And this was her beloved brother, who greeted his younger sister from Ukraine.

However, in the evening there was to be another surprise from our friend who had done so much good for us. First of all, these good people made a guest contract for us, which was of great importance to us. Thanks to this document, we had an address, and we could freely travel around Turkey without being limited by a rental contract for a year in one city!

We agreed to meet in this cafe, and the happy birthday girl was waiting, waiting... But our friend did not call or congratulate her on her birthday. The phone did not answer... The next day we found out: he was handcuffed by the police. We were shocked. We lost our guest contract. We were forced to urgently find another accommodation.
This is the second time such fatal events have happened on my daughter Victoria's birthday. At the age of 18, the war started, and at the age of 20, we lost a friend in whose life a great misfortune happened...

For several days we were in sad thoughts, hope and expectation... Maybe some mistake happened... Unfortunately, a terrible event really happened in this person's life. We were sad, we loved this friend very much, but he was arrested...

We walked in the beautiful natural places of our Antalya region, enjoyed the last days of warm winter. How beautiful life is on our Earth: clouds over the mountains, bearded palms, small fragrant flowers of wild calendula... Everything pleased the eyes, but the heart was sad... There is so much human suffering due to mistakes, despair...

We visited the nature reserve in Paradise Bay, where wild daffodils were blooming. Paradise in nature created a contrast with the events of our life!

Life sometimes knocks us down, but trials make us stronger and wiser. I am grateful to God for my adult daughter, who is my favorite friend and teacher. And these flowers, presented to my Victoria by my son - the love between my children - the greatest reward for me as a mother. And we will overcome all difficulties with God's help.
