My Special Weekend story.

Apart from checking on my physical small business from time to time, most days I am just at home on my laptop either learning something new, trying to connect with other users on hive, or producing content.

I am not the type that has so many friends in the physical world and that means I hardly get any type of special invitation to any location. I only have my dog to keep me company from time to time.

This weekend, however, one of the very few friends I have was invited to a wedding and I was forced to travel down with him, he complained about my decision to stay indoors all the time, he was scared that I could die of boredom (Lol), and since he was not going to take no for an answer, I had no answer than to travel down with him.

We traveled down to Ogun state for the event, I have never been to that part of the country so it was an interesting ride for me asides from the fact that the security personnel in my country tries to harass any good-looking young man on the road and that type of embarrassment is not something I like to watch. Apart from that, it was a smooth ride.

We arrived at the destination and had to lodge in a hotel since the event was scheduled for the next day. We got a nice lodge at a reasonable price and paid, I strolled out with my friend and it was a beautiful sight, we stopped at an eatery and I ordered fried rice and chicken, the food was not worth the amount spent at all, but we had no choice.

The following morning before the event, my friend and I went for a quick swim. I am still learning how to swim, so I do not swim without a tube, I am always scared of drowning in a shallow pool (LOL).

We got dressed and went straight for the event, it was an extremely simple wedding but it was fun regardless. After the event, we traveled back home and the journey back home was smooth and nice.
I am glad I traveled after a long time and I hope that soon, I will be able to enjoy a more beautiful travel experience.
