Hello beautiful community, here I come to share for the weekend engagement of this opportunity, the last one of 2024, I chose the topic of goals because this year I met two on the same day, the first was a process of 4 years of study and practices, the The second was a surprise from three months ago, crowned on the same weekend, the diploma of further study in tantric accompaniment and the ninth rank of aikido.

Years ago I returned to practicing martial arts, but a short time ago I started with #aikido, it was a surprise when the sensei told me that I was ready to take the exam, I expected that it would be more or less a year before the first exam but let's say The truth is that it is quite easy for me because I do not start from scratch, although I dare to ignore all the learned baggage to free my mind from preconceptions and be able to incorporate new precepts with greater effort, the basis is the same. What is interesting is that with new visions the acquired knowledge is enriched and consolidated.

What specifically happened: I went to take the exam, and I wore the aikidogi (training clothes) the same day! Luckily the person who did it for me was able to send it very quickly so I had it ready for the stipulated date, otherwise I couldn't take the exam. I dressed quickly in the bathroom since the children were with their exam. Thanks to the kamis that my senpai was near the door and I asked him for help to tie my belt because he also has his technique, he explained it to me and helped me with a lot of camaraderie and complicity. We rookies were the first to come forward, another colleague gave me valuable advice for my nerves, "breathe", it helped me concentrate since I only had to do what I already knew, what I had practiced so many times. It was simple. The following rank exams were inspiring, I learned a lot just by watching my classmates.

The exam finished and I ran to the locker room to shower, I had to change for the diploma ceremony that would have already begun. I arrived in time to see my second year classmates and to receive our third year diplomas with my classmates, they are different instances within the training. I went up on stage, we had a group hug, baptized by me as a "tantric hug" with the director and the school teachers, I gave a short speech that earned the "awn" of the entire audience and laughter for the final photo.

(They haven't given it to me yet, as soon as I have it I'll share it as well as the photo with the aikido diploma), I stayed at the party for a while and returned home early.

It was an exhausting Saturday, pure nerves and expectations, everything turned out better than I thought, a beautiful coronation for this year, it was not the only thing but for one post it is fine, in another I will tell more.

Discipline was what allowed me to achieve these achievements, and the discernment of being able to focus on what I want to deepen at this moment. It is not easy to establish priorities but for me the commitment to practice and study was a fundamental pillar to sustain my goals and show me that if I am capable of achieving what I set out to do, even if it seems difficult, it is not impossible. The exercise was not only external, keeping the fire lit for years, like every moment in which we thought about giving up, we would not have the reward of self-recognition, I never wanted to meet other people's expectations, so I even renounced mine to not to fall into that trap, I was just boycotting myself until I realized that in reality no one cares and it only hurts me to fail myself, if I want to set an example for my children to commit to embracing their dreams, by more humble than they are since a dream is never too small, I see myself in the nobility of committing myself like this too.
