Would you believe me if I told you that time machines exist? I'm not talking about the machine from the movie that takes people to other eras. Now I want to tell you and show you real mechanical masterpieces. My weekend was great this time. We haven't gone anywhere for a long time due to our busy work schedule. And here's a surprise for us. On Saturday it was announced in our village that we would be hosting a very large exhibition of retro cars. On Sunday we were already thoroughly enjoying the retro exhibits. Just think about it. These cars still move under their own power. But first things first. Ready? Then I'll begin.
Such exhibitions of retro cars are held here every year. But this year this exhibition has increased its models several dozen times. In our country there is a club for retro car lovers. They buy old cars and take care of them. They restore some cars at their own expense. All cars are in absolutely perfect condition. This time, not only cars, but also mopeds and motorcycles came to us over the weekend.
The weekend turned out to be warm and sunny. Music was playing in the center of the village. We left the house and headed towards the exhibition. There were quite a lot of people. Some came from other cities. This time the exhibition occupied not only the center of our village, but also the nearby park. It's just an incredible sight. I love cars, engines and everything related to the automotive industry.
Once at the exhibition, it was as if I had opened a door to the past. Vintage cars sparkled in the sun. They magnetized my gaze and transported me to a time when roads were narrow and cars were true works of art.
Eh. I would love to be able to take off on some exciting journey in one of these cars. The first thing that caught my eye was the unique style. just look at these graceful curves of parts, wheels, engines, door handles and side mirrors. Each car has its own character. Each car reflects the spirit of the times.
I wander around the exhibition. My gaze wanders over every detail. I really want to take off on one of them. But I just touch the pleasant hardware, inhale the pleasant smell of leather in one of the open interiors of the car. Every detail in these mechanical masterpieces seemed to me like artifacts from another time.
We returned home from the exhibition impressed. Just think of the technical and design talents that engineers and designers of past decades possessed. The weekend is great.
