Cheers to Weekend - Rediscovering the beauty of small town life..

People always wait for the weekend to enjoy their time with family and friends. It is kind of me time or family time or friends time. They have differrnt plans in place to spend the weekend. The icing on the cake is when you experience something out of the box turn of events during weekends to make the time memorsble. This weekend was not differrnt for me, it was full of surpeises. I was literally been taken away from home by close friends to celebrate the Marriage anniversary. And it was full of beer, mutton and alcohol.

I usually avoid joining such group of friends, but, since I am staying at the rented accomadtion somewhere I could not stopped myself to be with them too. I am not a hard-core alcoholic but ocassionally I prefer to have Beer. My friends being aware of it, ordered few can of chilled beer. It was a welcome treat in the scorching humid weather.

While they ordered a small bottle of whiskey for themselves. The time of friends always gets better when they understand each other. They are aware of my taste and never presurred me to have whiskey with them. We gather only to enjoy the ocassion so no way we going to drunk or loose our senses.

If you look at the background picture, this is not any luxurious place. The place e I am living now has many huts time kitchen in place for the drinkers. They avoid going to restaurants or clubs to save money. They simply join in such kitchen and enjoy their drink with their choice of dishes. These kitchen are specialized in cooking non veg fishes. From chicken to mutton, order them and they prepare it as per your taste. When we were served with hot plate mutton, I doubting about its taste. But my doubts fallen in places once I tasted it. It was far better than any big restaurant or hotels.

I think the texture is enough to make you think of its taste. What more interesting aboutbtyese small kitchen is that you can bring your own meat of your choice and ask them to cook. They will do that at a very reasonable price. The set up was completelly different from big restaurant or hotels. No ambience, no aroma no fragrance no rich set up. Still the place was buzzing with many people. There were benches, and kitchen staff to seve you with water, or plastic glasses, and other requirement for food and drink. I dislike drinking beer with can, so asked for glass. I was tasting it after long time, and the sizzle on the glass was too tempting.

Once everyone have their rounds of drinks and also lots of gossips, we ordered another plate of mutton and rice for the meal. The local town is alwsys buzzing with these combination. This is the most soughtbfood of the area. Again the food was outstanding.

The food were served in paper plate with some sliches of salad. It was a good place for such mini get together. No need for booking and reservation at big hotels. Simply reach out to these place to enjoy little drinks and heaven for the non-veg lover. Honestly, ibrate the place much better in terms of their food. The mutton was excellent and at quite an effective rate.

I must thanks my friends for introducing me to a new lifestyle that exists in middle of the town but covered with shanties and huts. Never knew of them before. May be someother day, I will share the complete set up. But I enjoyed the drinks and food at this low profile place. A weekend to remember for friends, foods and drinks.
