It was 3 years ago and I had just graduated as a professor of Foreign Languages at the University of Pinar del Rio in Cuba. It was really a very difficult career, even more so when starting my second year the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and my studies were affected, I graduated as an English teacher, but the other languages such as French and Portuguese did not develop as they should have.

At the end of 2022 I started working, teaching English in a high school, the motivation of the students was almost nonexistent, the salary was not really the best and the working conditions were not the most favorable, I was only supported by the desire to contribute to society and to exercise a profession that I love, which I have lived closely from my grandmother to my mother...

But there are times when feeling that you are wasting your time and energy makes you make very personal decisions, it makes you feel useless at times. I decided to try my luck and went to the capital to pursue my real dream, to make music and be able to make a living from it. Getting out of my comfort zone and living a piece of the dream was quite curious, proving to myself that sometimes things just depend on action and not on imagination or so many theories.

Feeling independent, self-sufficient and with a purpose made me understand that life is there for those who dare to live it, and that there will always be options to choose from, doors to open and dreams to make come true. After some time I find myself still teaching classes for students who are truly interested in developing their skills, I have improved my French language and I have dedicated myself to share music on this great platform, so I can say that for someone who is shy and indecisive at times.... I have been able to surprise myself, and to follow my dreams a little bit more.
