200 years From Now, What Will Be Remembered? (If I have my way, that is.)

                                              12th March 2023

To Whom It May Concern,

What a time this is, to be alive. Everything feels like it is about to come to a head. Like the earth itself is beginning to cave in on us. Cave in from the pressure, of everything that we have been put through.

But then I remember how insignificant we are in the grant scheme of things. As though we, would cause the earth herself, to cave in upon us. It's funny how much our egos, feed our narrative.

But we have been heading down a very destructive path for a while. (on the surface anyway.) It's certainly is the narrative that the media has been pushing, at this time and it is one that many actually believe.

Making many feel overwhelmed and hopeless.

But underneath all of that, you can feel the subtle changes in energy. As we begin to feel the shift in the pendulum, as we begin, to finally move in a different direction.

Well some of us do anyway.

There is constant talk of War, Covid, Racism, Climate Change, Transphobia. Constant talk of different sides, different views. Focusing more on what is dividing us.

The media just loves to push it.

So it's best, to just turn it off. Because life itself, is so much better when you fully immerse yourself in it. To stop getting distracted and just live your life

I wish more people could understand that, but we are all on our own path and so many people, get sucked into these narratives, forgetting that they can write their own. Forget, that they are even capable of doing so.

Life to me, is all about my connection with the land, with the people in my life and what service I can be to the earth itself. Life to me, is simple. It is about being part of each step it takes, in order to thrive.

To know the source of my water and go their to collect it. To know the source of my food and sometimes grow it. To feel my bare feet, on the earth as I walk upon it.

AS I live a minimal lifestyle, but one that is full of riches. Riches that have nothing to do with money. But all to do with connection.

A rainbow song always springs to mind when I think about my life.

I find my joy in the simple things
That are coming from the earth
I find my joy in the sun that shines
And the water that sings to me
Listen to the wind and listen to the water
Hear what they say
Singing heya heya heya heya
Heya heya ho
Let us never forget
Never forget to give thanks
Give thanks give thanks
Give thanks and praise

I find myself wondering what life will be like in 200 years. What you, who reads this will be like. But it is just a fleeting thought.

I have much to do in my day, as I relax into the flow of life and embrace my greatest power, which is my creativity. Where everyday brings with it, new opportunities, if you are willing to take them.

Of course it is not all sunshine and roses. Life is nothing, if not challenging. But those challenges, enable us to really see what life is all about.

It's what we do with those lessons, it's in choosing, to let them fuel us.

Yours Sincerely
Aishlinn
Living Life 200 years ago!

I wasn't sure which prompt to choose. When I first read them, I thought Cave Girl, cos I mean, why not. But when I sat down tonight and read them again, the time capsule one, jumped out at me. Why, because even though these years are intense. I don't want them to be remembered as being all doom and gloom. I want to shine a light. To show that not not everyone forgot what it is like, to really live. To be in flow. But mostly, to show how important it is for us to take control of our lives. Cheers @galenkp for continuing to throw out this wonderful prompts for us.

Well, I guess we can all be grateful that we're not living life 200 years ago. Can you imagine trying to write a letter like this without a typewriter, let alone the internet?

Jokes aside

Thank you for your thoughtful letter. I share your curiosity about what life will be like in 200 years, but I'm also grateful for the present moment and the opportunities it presents.

It's exciting to think about the possibilities that new technologies and scientific discoveries could bring in the next two centuries. Maybe we'll have found a way to travel faster than the speed of light, or we'll have made significant progress in colonizing other planets.

Of course, there are also challenges ahead, such as climate change and the potential for further global crises. But as you pointed out, it's in facing these challenges that we can truly understand the power of our creativity and resilience.

Whatever the future holds, I hope that we will continue to prioritize connection and community, as you have in your own life. And who knows, maybe someday our letters will be sent and received by drones or telepathically!

Thank you @steelbak for you lovely feedback xxx
