I have never been one for perfumes, certainly not the ones they sell in department stores. I hate that in almost every airport, you have to walk through the Duty Free area, which always seems to cut through the beauty section, which is full of the smell of perfume. It stresses me out to be honest, as all the chemicals give me a headache. It's a complete overload for the senses and my poor sense of smell feels like it is being tortured.
You might think I am exaggerating, but trust me I am not. I am allergic to synthetic scents. I use only natural products on my body and in my home. Most of what I use, I make myself. At least that way I know what I am using, what I am putting on my skin. I do like essential oils. I like to add them to the cleaning products I use, at the moment it's mostly citrus or geranium.
If I had to choose a favourite scent, it would be the smell that is in the air after it has rained. I just love it. But it is not scent you can capture. So I get to enjoy, that wonderful smell after it has rained. That mixture of wet earth and foliage, my whole body rejoices when I get to smell it. Oh and also the smell of the ocean, that I do love as well. I don't get to experience them often, but that makes the experience all the more special.
I stopped wearing deodorant, when I was in my twenties and I also stopped using Shampoo and conditioner as well. My scent, is purely natural. Yes I sweat, but it never smells, mostly because I am very conscious of what I consume. Of course I have my own odor, as we all do. It really is a testament to our health. Sweating is our bodies number one way of detoxing, the smell you give off, is a wonderful indication of how your body is doing. Yet so many mask it and therefore miss out on this wonderful method, of being able to monitor ones own health and well being.
So as you can imagine, I do not like to smell perfume or cologne on others. Essential oils, I don't mind. I do understand that some people suffer with body odor, but if you do, then you need to look at what you are putting into and on your body. There is nothing more attractive to me, that the smell of a healthy human, which is unique to each individual. I mean isn't it about time, we went back to letting our pheromones do the talking.
All images I have used are mine and show me when I am smelling my best, when I am dancing lol.
All true. I can’t fathom how some people can live inside the cloud of synthetic odour.
After rain scent, maybe it has something to do with electrical discharge and burning oxygen? It’s similar to smell of iron on your fingers after you touch wet metal.
Happy and healthy this year 😁❤️💪 !LOLZ

Yeah, there is definitely the smell of iron in there. I really just like earthy scents.
Wishing you a magical 2025
Another earthly/natural scent - dog's hair after rain !LOLZ
Not everybody is a fan of it ...
I gave up all forms of artificial scents and deodorizers many years ago, including shampoos. I'm hyper sensitive to artifical nonsense, and I don't like being around it at all, or anyone who uses them. I fully accept and celebrate our whole, natural, sovereign, divine humanity, which means that I like humans in their natural state, including their natural odors, which as you said are unique, and tell us so much about an individual and his or her health. This is yet another reason that I live in the jungle...lol! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Yes let celebrate our natural state of being.
Lots of blessings for 2025 xxx
Absolutely yes, @trucklife-family, you've got a deal! Thanks much, dear! May 2025 exceed all of your desires, expectations, and hopes! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
