My Best Days

Saturdays and Sundays are always the best days of my life. I tend to rest, chill, see movies, and cook. Oh goodness! I love cooking. The best part of it is taking a nap, and knowing that I have all day to myself is superb and exhilarating. People around me know I enjoy weekends, hence I wouldn't want to be stressed.

I'm particular about going to school on weekends, I dislike it with so much passion. Who fixes lectures on Saturdays? Oh well, my lecturers.

I go to school from Monday to Friday, and on each of those days, I come back exhausted and hungry with lots of assignments and tests to read for.

My joy has always known no bounds each time I wake up to see a beautiful day and know it's Saturday, it has always been a peaceful feeling. Then somehow, it gets botched.

"Good morning everyone, we will be having the MGT class today by 10 am." This keeps popping up on my phone like it was particularly just meant for me, and the next thing would be, "Attendance is mandatory." This part sulks.

Knowing how well I'd planned out my Saturday and realizing that I'd be spending more than half of my day in school always had a way of changing my countenance. And most times, I don't get to pay attention in class.

Other times, classes are fixed by 8 am, which automatically means no cooking, washing, sleeping, movies and perhaps writing until 4 pm. And by that time, I would have been too exhausted to do anything at all. So I get to shift everything to Sunday after the service, then it gets too bulky.

But now, it's different. I got signed out two months ago from school, and I'm totally free from Saturday lectures. The feeling is heavenly, cause I'll get to enjoy my weekends as much as I want again.

This is my first post and I'm glad to be here.
