I answer first as myself. Who will not think of Hal, "Will I dream"? The development of AI has given humans the tools to deal with a philosophical question that has been around for centuries: What is the nature of reality? Are we conscious, or do we have the illusion of consciousness? Is free will an illusion?
Have you been watching Westworld? Westworld shows characters in the throws of sorting the philosophical question. You take us inside the mind of such a character. A character undergoing the transformation from being to not being, from consciousness to loss of self.
I don't know how you wrote this so fast. I don't know how you made that great collage so fast (have you checked out the collage community, LMAC?). I only can imagine you must be very, very smart😄
Yes, I've watched Westworld! Asimov's IRobot. And the new Ridley Scott Series, Raised by Wolves, where Ai robots raise children on another planet. Plus any number of sci Fi films and books on which this draws. I'm sure Hal fed into the dream muse writer driver somewhere too. I was also talking to @bengy yesterday about AI briefly and we have been watching a lot of YouTube about Lamda and the possibility of AI gaining human sentience, and AI surpassing human intelligence. Sometimes the muse is a dream that squirrels from what you've read or seen. I love doing collages to illustrate stories now I've worked out how to do them! It feels like art. Nowhere near your level and I struggle to do the Lmac ones as you're all so GOOD.
