Learn
Everyday I learn
I learn to be curious
I learn see the world with wonder
And let my imagination wander
I learn to see the sea
In the puddles of rain
Be the captain of my paper boat
Set sail, watch it float
I learn patience
To slowly follow
Raindrops on my window
Watch them meet and grow
I learn to be excited
To tell stories of their journey:
"This drop met that one,
And then zzooop they raced and won!"
I learn to smile
At the little things in life
And to believe that I am not yet done,
Thank you for being my teacher, my son!
