She was very naïve, but she also had a good heart. We were relieved when she forgave us for that immature joke.
The teacher found out, but not from us. Once, we talked about it in front of another classmate who we thought was our friend, and then she told him. By then we were no longer seeing classes with Professor Gutierrez.
