Estoy muy feliz de poder compartir con ustedes mi segunda participación en el Hive's Top Model, esta vez presentando un maquillaje inspirado en los recursos naturales.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Hello friends of Hive!
I am very happy to share with you my second participation in Hive's Top Model, this time presenting a makeup inspired by natural resources.

Tenemos que preocuparnos por nuestro hogar, y no me refiero a la casa de cuatro paredes que nos da cobijo cada día, me refiero a una casa más grande, el planeta, nuestra casa común, así la llama el Papa Francisco en la Encíclica Laudato Si.

Toda la creación es parte de la casa común, incluidos los recursos naturales que son un regalo divino que Dios nos ha dado desde el principio. Y nosotros, como Hijos de Dios estamos llamados a dominar la creación, sin embargo, el verbo "dominar" no se parece en nada al verbo "destruir", aunque lamentablemente parece que muchos lo confunden.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

We need to be concerned about our home, and I am not referring to the four-walled house that shelters us every day, I am referring to a larger home, the planet, our common home, as Pope Francis calls it in the Encyclical Laudato Si.

All of creation is part of the common home, including the natural resources that are a divine gift that God has given us from the beginning. And we, as Children of God are called to master creation, however, the verb "to master" is nothing like the verb "to destroy", although unfortunately it seems that many confuse the two.

Las grandes empresas se preocupan más por sus intereses que por el cuidado del planeta, los gobiernos no han tomado en serio el tema de la sustentabilidad ambiental y nuestros niños creen que arrojar un papel al suelo no hará daño a nadie, cuando vengamos a ver, en esta casa donde ya somos muchos, no quedará para nadie más. Estamos llamados a disponer de la creación con sabiduría.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Large companies are more concerned about their interests than about caring for the planet, governments have not taken seriously the issue of environmental sustainability and our children believe that throwing a piece of paper on the ground will not harm anyone, when we come to see, in this house where there are already many of us, there will be none left for anyone else. We are called to dispose of creation wisely.

¿Has escuchado que nuestro cuerpo es 70% agua? ¡esto es muy cierto! Somos un mar de gente, en una verde y florecida alfombra junto con otras criaturas que nos hacen compañía.

A través de mi outfit quise representar ese mar azul al que pertenecemos, un mar de almas que está llamado a ser feliz. Mi maquillaje representa la mirada al horizonte de la creación. El cielo, la tierra y el mar. Un árbol que se forma, representando la vida y el florecer del mismo que representa nuestra alma, garante de nuestra inteligencia y todos nuestros dotes.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Have you heard that our body is 70% water? This is very true! We are a sea of people, in a green and flowery carpet together with other creatures that keep us company.

Through my outfit I wanted to represent that blue sea to which we belong, a sea of souls that is called to be happy. My makeup represents the look to the horizon of creation. The sky, the earth and the sea. A tree that forms, representing life and the blossoming of the same that represents our soul, guarantor of our intelligence and all our gifts.
