No soy muy fiestera, la verdad. Solo asisto a eventos cuando son personas de total confianza, casi como familia.

En este caso, así fue. Recibí la invitación para la celebración de los 15 años de la hija de una muy buena amiga. A su niña la conocí cuando tenía apenas 3 años, y ya Sofi llegó a sus dulces 15.

Tuve que pensar cómo iba a lucir. Lo único que tenía claro era el vestido que usaría: un regalo de mi tía de hace un año que aún no había estrenado. Sin embargo, surgieron otros problemas que resolver, como buscar unos zapatos, ya que no tenía unos acordes.

Por otro lado, el vestido tiene un corte asimétrico en la parte de abajo, lo que me hace sentir muy incómoda porque lo percibo demasiado corto. Necesitaba stylearlo y encontrar la forma de sentirme más cómoda. Pensé que debía usar medias, ya que añadirían un toque de elegancia y me darían una sensación de seguridad me sentiría un poco cubierta, aunque también sabía que esto llamaría más la atención hacia mis piernas.

Un día antes decidí ir a una tienda , la primera que se me vino a la mente porque adoro esa marca, para ver opciones de zapatos y elegir algún modelo. No tenía nada en mente, pero sí sabía que prefería zapatos cerrados porque llevaría medias panty.

Como era de esperarse, al llegar a la tienda vi unos que me encantaron, pero tenía dudas sobre si combinaban con el vestido. Luego vi otros que amé: negros de charol 😍. Sin embargo, no había de mi talla, así que tuve que decidirme por un modelo similar en semicuero.

Resuelto el tema de los zapatos, quedaban pendientes las medias. Yo quería unas medias completamente negras y traslúcidas, esas que son más claritas... pero fue misión imposible. Así que terminé comprando unas negras con puntitos, lo más parecido a lo que buscaba.

Esa noche, al llegar a casa, me probé el vestido con las medias y los zapatos, pero algo no iba bien: las medias eran demasiado oscuras. Finalmente, opté por unas de malla que ya tenía, ¡y se veía mucho mejor!

Para el cabello, decidí llevarlo suelto, con rizos definidos. Usaría el difusor para secarlo y asegurar una mejor forma en los rizos. El maquillaje sería un clean look.

Lo genial de escoger zapatos que no fueran de charol fue que pude llevar una cartera negra pequeña que hacía un match perfecto.

Cada vez que veo las fotos, pienso que el vestido es muy corto. Sin embargo, decidí usarlo solo para esta ocasión 😆. Para una próxima oportunidad, creo que debería stylearlo de forma más casual, quizá añadiendo algo debajo para suavizar lo corto.

En conclusión, el look quedó así y me gustó, aunque las fotos me confirmaron que el vestido realmente es corto. A pesar de eso, me encantó y, por fin, lo usé, aunque fuese la primera y última vez 😆.

I'm not much of a party girl, to be honest. I only attend events when they are people I trust, almost like family.

In this case, that was the case. I received an invitation to a very good friend's daughter's 15th birthday celebration. I met her daughter when she was only 3 years old, and Sofi had already reached her sweet 15.

I had to think about how she was going to look. The only thing I had clear was the dress I would wear: a gift from my aunt a year ago that I had not yet worn. However, there were other problems to solve, such as looking for shoes, since I didn't have the right ones.

On the other hand, the dress has an asymmetrical cut at the bottom, which makes me feel very uncomfortable because I perceive it too short. I needed to style it and find a way to feel more comfortable. I thought I should wear tights, as they would add a touch of elegance and give me a sense of security I would feel a bit covered, although I also knew that this would draw more attention to my legs.

A day before I decided to go to a store , the first one that came to my mind because I adore that brand, to see shoe options and choose some model. I didn't have anything in mind, but I did know that I preferred closed shoes because I would be wearing pantyhose.

As expected, when I got to the store I saw some that I loved, but I had doubts about whether they matched the dress. Then I saw others that I loved: black patent leather 😍. However, there weren't any in my size, so I had to decide on a similar model in semi leather.

Having solved the shoe issue, the stockings were still pending. I wanted completely black and translucent stockings, those that are lighter in color... but it was mission impossible. So I ended up buying some black ones with dots, the closest thing to what I was looking for.

That night, when I got home, I tried on the dress with the tights and shoes, but something wasn't right: the tights were too dark. Finally, I opted for some tights I already had, and it looked much better!

For the hair, I decided to wear it loose, with defined curls. I would use the diffuser to blow dry it and ensure a better shape in the curls. Makeup would be a clean look.

The great thing about choosing non-patent leather shoes was that I was able to carry a small black purse that was a perfect match.

Every time I look at the pictures, I think the dress is too short. However, I decided to wear it just for this occasion 😆. For a next opportunity, I think I should style it more casual, maybe adding something underneath to soften the shortness.

In conclusion, the look looked like this and I liked it, although the photos confirmed to me that the dress really is short. Despite that, I loved it and, finally, I wore it, even if it was the first and last time 😆.
