Hey SkateHive fam!

This might not seem like a skate post, but trust me, it actually is part of my grand scheme to spread awareness of SkateHive, and bring more skaters to our platform. I've started two TikTok accounts with the goal to slyly help people understand why decentralized social media such as Hive is so important, and how we're going to revolutionize the skate industry with what we're doing here in the SkateHive community.

First off I got to grow my following, so I'm not just yelling into the void that is the internet. So if you're on TikTook you can help by subscribing, watching my videos, liking, and commenting on them. This should tell the algorithm that my videos are good, and help spread them to more people.

Second off, I am trying to educate people about how social media really works, as many people use and consume a lot of it, but they don't actually understand how it works, much less how valuable our content is. How else do you think Crackbook ( facebook got caught knowingly making their platform addicted to kids, so this is what I call it now ) became such a huge company despite offering a "free" service. The reality is our attention has value! Crackbook monetizes that attention not just by selling advertising, but also via collecting data on what catches our attention, keeps us coming back to the platform, and then selling that data to the highest bidder.
I'm working on a series of videos to touch on this point, but without directly naming names since that'll likely get me shadow banned on these controlled platforms. Here is the first video of that series:

The third part of this approach is to slowly seed in the idea of what Stoken will become. Hence the Stoken On Hive TikTok account. Despite delays due to my moving on to a sailboat, and being super busy, I am still working on developing the Stoken Token, along with a story to give it some lore similar to Bitcoins creation story by Satoshi Nakamoto.
