The Vials - Stars

Stars are some of the rewards we get from playing gods unchained, and I've been doing some research on what that is which I will be sharing with you. But first we have to understand what they are, so let's dive in.

What are Stars?

Stars are a new off-chain resource, like Flux, which are tied to your account and cannot be traded. You gain Stars by winning games in the Ranked Constructed queue. Stars are awarded in a Star Vial, which you open up immediately after getting a ranked game win.

What this means is that whenever you win a ranked game, you get a star reward just like the screenshot below.

The Star rewards are in six different categories, the category determines the quantity of stars you get rewarded. The categories are;

• Nebula Vial
  This gives you 40 to 60 Stars

• Giant Vial
  This gives you 100 to 200 Stars

• Supergiant Vial
  This gives you 200 to 300 Stars

• Supernova Vial
  This gives you 400 to 600 Stars

• Galactic Vial
  This gives you 1000 to 1200 stars

• Universal Vial
  This gives you 2000 to 2500 Stars

How To Earn Stars

As mentioned earlier, You gain Stars by winning games in the Ranked Constructed queue, but this has a daily limit. Your first win of the day gives you a Supernova Vial while 2nd to 4th winning of the day gives you a Supergiant Vial, your 5th win gives you a Nebula Vial, 6th win gives you a Giant Vial, 7th to 10th win can either be a Nebula or a Giant Vial and lastly 11th to 20th win a Nebula Vial.

Note: There is a slight possibility of each vial upgrading to the next once opened. The rare Vials, The Galactic Vial is only available on upgrading from Supernova while the Universal Vail available from upgrading from Galactic Vial.

The Star Rewards decrease after the fourth win and stop after the twentieth win and there is a cap of 20 wins per day, and stars are only rewarded if a game progresses to 5 or more rounds. That means for you to be rewarded you must win the game and it must last at least 5 rounds, so if your opponent concedes when the game is just stating you won't be rewarded. The reward schedule resets each day at midnight UTC. (7pm EST, 4pm PST, 11am AEST.)

Why are Stars Important?

The Star Store was launched on 14th December, 2020 and players can get cards by trading their stars, rewarded to them.

Please note that plain cards acquired in the store are added to your account but are not on the blockchain. This simply means that, just like every other Core cards and Welcome Set cards players acquire without spending money, you can't trade them unless you fuse them in the forge.
