Blessing of the $GODS
If you complete 60 games at Mythic or Ethereal Diamond in Gods Unchained, you get the maximum number of points and therefore the maximum number of $GODS for any given week. Since they just decided to extend this event another 4 weeks I thought I'd break down the hourly earnings for playing Gods Unchained and help determine if it is worth your time to play or not!

If it were a job, well, getting paid $6 per hour wouldn't be a great one. But don't forget YOU'RE GETTING PAID TO PLAY A VIDEO GAME! Additionally, don't forget you're also earning packs of Core cards daily, and Core + Divine Order on the weekends, raising your hourly rate even higher.

Great video, and this is how I think about it, too. Last week I was going to be out of town for all but 2 days. I played aggro decks, and if I wasn't winning at 4 mana, I conceded (make sure your opponent also has 4 mana). It was easy to win enough games to stay in mythic (playing lots of random fun decks), and my average time per game was really short (maybe near that 5-minute mark on average). I got all my games in, and that's the only time this event has ever felt like a grind.
Normally, you'll easily hit 60 games playing an hour a day. If you hate this game, maybe that sounds terrible, but assuming you're playing because you enjoy it, it's basically free money.

Hahaha, I love that quote. Pretty good $/hour for playing a game if you ask me. Normally you would be content playing a card game for 0$/hour. That's what I've done for the past few years. To additionally get paid real $ for playing is a blessing for sure. I play agro, so my actual earning per hour is higher, haha! How did you calculate the time spent in a game? Is that your own stats, or are there some good data sources for that?

I generally try to play aggro because as a parent there just isn't enough time in the day anymore. Boosting ROI is just a side benefit. Even at $3/hr it still far outclasses traditional gaming so I do think players should play what they enjoy.
Plus the price of those tokens can always go up. Then I think for a fair assessment of how much you can make you have to add in additional factors for a person such as yourself. Like you make YouTube videos stream on Twitch and our now one of the pillars of are amazing #GodsOnChain community on Hive. Now I am not saying for you to put your personnel finances out there. But there are many more ways to milk all the value out of Gods Unchained. Even a small time nobody like me is getting great value from playing and just posting on Hive.
