My Tier Listing for Dread Awakened, Explained

Greetings to the tier list wooooooooooooooooooo! No but seriously this one felt weird reviewing, not very much bad. In fact it seemed MOSTLY overpowered. I actually did this one live on stream and will explain the logic behind it. I made this live on twitch here so if you have any confusion definitely check it out there. Or if you want particular details on "why is this card there". Even though I saw the cards when a bit tired a lot of the synergies are very strong in tandem with each other.

S: OP or Busted

Generally Op or busted based on current cards

A: OP or Busted but a shade less

Generally Op or busted but may rely on tribal synergy to be effective, or is unprecedented tech

B: Solid Stuff good slot ins

Good bodies, nothing overtly OP or busted but strong cards. OR things that only synergize in an archetypal way that will be of lesser oppression (aethers)

C: Not going to be viable most of the time

Exception being the war aether that does to B

D: You won't see this in the meta very often slotted in organically

Yup, not really an expression of "how good" the abilities are just their viability as a slot in in the current meta

Powercreep with a large balance window

This set is riddled with powercreep as far as the eye can see. There is a large balance period for it this time which is nice, ideally things are put on par to a degree. Hopefully no meta warping arrandions slip through the cracks. I predict dread death being obnoxious along with deception sleep/steal/bounce/voidsteal/nether package. Thanks for dropping by everyone, and thanks for the continued support! You all rock. Truly

That's an awful lot of S!

Realistically there should've been another tier, but I couldn't figure out how to add F on tiermaker. Made more sense on stream when explaining each cards position lol. A lot should be going in A or B with another tier division, but so much of it will be incredibly strong when paired together it was hard to gauge how busted some of it will be. A lot of cards are overtly better than anything created previously to serve said purpose. It feel really weird looking at this set and seeing mostly A, B, or S tier with quite literally almost no chaff created. Every card in this set not only feels playable, but actually strong and usually stronger than their current counterparts. Thanks for coming out, hope you have been having a good week man. Cheers!
