The Return to "Divine Order-Legendary-Pack"-Tier! Mythic with Deception, finished with 17/25 (25.2.-28.2.2022)

Before the last Weekend Ranked Event I had big problems to reach Mythic as my starting Rank. I was lucky enough and I reached Mythic about 2 hours before that event started.

During upranking I had a matchup against "Mr. Mittens" (If someone know if he is also active here please tag him in the comment section. He deserves an official Thank You as he was a big help for me!)
He is also a Deception Player and the deck he played was very impressive for me. I lost this match so his deck was an inspiration for the changes in my deck.

New Cards:

Demogorgon:
Because of the little Crash of ETH a few days ago I took the opportunity to charge up a few ETH and so I was able to play one Demo for my first time. This is the only option to have a creature with leech in a Deception deck and having leech can be very helpful in some situations. It's a nice card (and it costs A LOT money) but there were 3 other cards with a bigger impact. If you can't afford a Demogorgon I think you can replace it with a 2nd Elixir of the Panther.

Mimicus:
Never had enough ETH to buy him but with charging up for Demogorgon I had a few ETH left to get also Mimicus. It's not just good to know what creatures your opponent have in his hand. You can also play one of his creatures when you like it.

Scylla, Carnival Ringleader:
She didn't changed with the last Balance Update but Shimmerscales did and the change was the reason to include Scylla in my deck. Shimmerscales lost Flank but got Hidden. And Hidden makes the card much stronger.
Burn +5 for everyone is a soft removal. Your opponent will have one more turn to fight your creatures. Without hidden your burning opponents just killed Shimmerscales so everything was at least useless.

(...and I'll tell you a little secret: Burn combined with sleep is awesome! Play Scylla and hide her with your Godpower in the same turn. Just raise the odds that this Card will survive. Let your opponent creatures sleep in your next turn with Elixir of the Panther or a Demogorgon for example. After you played your Sleep-combo Scylla will transform and the sleeping creatures are burning :D )

Elixir of the Snake:
Board removal? Finisher? It's both!
With the -3 Health for everyone a lot of creatures will die directly when you play it (including your own). With creatures like Guild Enforcer or Shimmerscales on your board you have options to buff them and attack the opponents god directly with more damage or when your opponent have big boys on his bord you can kill the surviving creatures easier. With adding this card I also took 2 "Guild Enforcer" into my journey.

War 1/2 (12%)
Light 0/0 (0%)

It seems that playing with Deception was very popular last weekend. Never faced so much opponents with Deception. It was also nice to win (almost) every match against Deception. The only match I lost against Deception was because of a "Shadow of Lethenon" with 2 "Dark Knives".
This beast killed me on Turn 5....

The nerf of "Radiant Dawn" was a big getaway from Light. Never played never against Light before.

I was running 1x Elixir of the snake and 1x Rapture Dance but I wasn't 100% happy with this. I don't know if i should use for next weekend 2x Elixir of the snake and remove Rapture dance completely.

And with Core Set Refresh on the horizon our decks will see big changes. I have the feeling, that this all will happen this week.

But this is only a prediction and I don't have any leaks!!!

I will not play in the next days because I will get a Legendary Core Pack from Level-up soon and I'll try to pack a new Core Legendary.
