Domestic Flights in Cebu are Affected by the Pandemic

I just want to share a not so good experience about domestic flight booking from Cebu to Manila. This is not to blame Cebu Pacific and Air Asia. They are also victim of the current situation.

A week ago after receiving 30-day notice from our company, together with other colleagues, we decided to book flights going back to Manila.

I chose June 2, 2020 as my schedule in Cebu Pacific while most of them prefer June 3. The sad part was on May 31 I received an email and SMS from Cebu Pacific that it was cancelled.

After receiving this notice I quickly grabbed my laptop and opened my mobile hotspot. I opened their website then rebooked my flight on June 4. Luckily the price didn't changed. The time was the same only the date differs.

Another sad thing happened when I opened my mobile this morning. Here it is.

I have no choice but to rebook it again but the sad thing was the earliest possible time and schedule was on the 3rd week of June. As my other colleagues suggestion I booked my flight in Air Asia Spirit. Another sad thing was, the price is doubled. I have no choice but to book it.

I was very confident that it will not be cancelled. I was wrong a few hours ago I received an email from Air Asia that this schedule was cancelled.

I am really down today. What I have in mind is to rebook it on the third week of June. Though I am not 100% sure that it will not be cancelled I have to make it.
