What is interesting here in my country is that I think it is so easy to sway the common people's opinions with some social media posts, or some religious leaders. and I think there is a little connection between them, the religious leader, or anyone with great influence will associate themselves often times with the politician since the politician has the money and the power to make rules, but then some of the politicians are more likely only be a servant to some pf the big and corrupt businessman who are digging up all the resources in this lovely archipelago.
And then the common people only get like donations, or frequent visits by the politicians, being fed with religious beliefs by those religious leaders, and mostly saying that life on earth is nothing than what God has promised in the afterlife, yet most of those religious leaders are living a lavish lifestyle. A contradictive situation.
The problem is that we are at the bottom and somehow feel so important because we are fighting for those who we think are on our side, especially on the election when those politicians are actually fighting for a place where they could live a good life in the name of the common people, but yet we give out life all out fighting for them, and those who we are fighting against are mostly the people around us, that we ask for help in day to day life, for as long as we live.
We fight, yet they get the money. and that is the reason why i view the politicians as the bad guys and not the one we should support with all our life, since they are only after power, and most of the time are servant of the businessman who taking all the money for themselves.
