Cent Tokenomics, 2025 Predictions Regarding the Cent Project (January 2025)

Hello everyone. I wish you all a happy new year. I hope you are well. We had a very productive December. Delegation Work and Tribe Token Work were quite successful. Trade Token Work was quite stagnant in the first half of the month due to Hive's one-way price movement. Price movements in Hive-Engine tokens were quite stagnant. However, with the increase in volatility in Hive in the second half of the month, we obtained satisfactory income from Hive/HBD trading. Hive-Engine tokens have lost value again in the last few days. During this process, Cent also lost some value in Hive terms. However, HBD maintained its value in dollar terms due to price balancing in BTC and BEE liquidity pools. The current price of the token is $0.0016

357,424 new Cents were staked last month. 85,619 new Cents were added to liquidity pools. 32,379 new Cent tokens were burned.

There are 33.157.632 Cents produced in total. 32.22% of these tokens (10,684,457) were burned. There are 22,473,183 tokens in circulation. 43.53% of the tokens in circulation (9,782,637) were staked. 7,216,701 of the tokens in circulation were added to liquidity pools. 4.081.907 tokens were added to liquidity pools to be distributed to liquidity providers. The remaining tokens are liquid in wallets. Or a sell order may have been placed in Hive/Cent market.

The reward pool generates 4 new tokens per minute. This means 5.760 tokens are generated per day and 2,102.400 tokens per year. The generated tokens are distributed as 50% curator rewards and 50% writer rewards. If the writer uses a community other than Cent's community page when publishing content, a portion of the writer rewards goes to the @centtoken account. All distributed rewards are paid in liquid form. If you initiate a power-down, your tokens will be paid out within 28 days (in 4 installments). If you withdraw a Cent delegation, your voting power will return after 7 days.

Last month, there was $21.305 worth of liquidity in Cent’s liquidity pools. This month’s liquidity is $22.457. Last month, there was a $52.763 worth of trading volume in the liquidity pools. This month, there is a $82.183 worth of trading volume.

Cent Project Expectations for 2025

I mentioned the work we did in the last days of January and our expectations regarding the future of these works. I will list the necessary links below. Considering the operation of the project, the work carried out; the functions of the reward pool and liquidity pools, we have reached a certain maturity. We have 8 Cent liquidity pools other than the Hive/Trade liquidity pool. There is liquidity in the liquidity pools as much as half the market value of the token. The monthly trading volume of Cent is more than the market value. However, we have not yet been able to show this success in the Hive/Cent market as shown in liquidity pools. The daily average trading volume in the market is between $50-$150.

In addition to the work we carry out in 2025, we will give more importance to the price value of the token, the trading volume in the token market and the increase in liquidity. We burned 66% more Cent in the last month compared to the previous month. We expect the amount of Cent burned monthly to increase even more. We received 4,200,000 Cent delegations to the @centtoken account. We are burning a large portion of the author rewards through the @buildawhale account. We will use some of the curation and trading returns we receive to increase depth and liquidity in the Hive/Cent market. As of this year, we will withdraw more Cent from the market using the work we have done in TRIBE and TRADE tokens. As of this month, we will focus more on the 'market making' activity we started in June last year.

We will make this year a year of collaboration with other projects for Cent; using the community and the work we have done. We already have a collaboration with INLEO. We will conduct more work towards more active use of LEO Delegations and the Cent/Leo liquidity pool. We have been quite passive so far in staking BEE tokens, the Bee Delegations Work and the use of the Cent/Bee liquidity pool. In the coming period, we will use Hive-Engine more while managing the project. We will also contribute more to Hive-Engine. We have plans to create a new liquidity pool for this purpose.
