It's not news that aside from Art, another thing I am passionate about is Photography.
I may not have the perfect skill, but it does give me joy and some satisfaction whenever I capture just about anything, people, nature, insects etc.
Snapping has been one of the things I am a huge freak of, not exactly pictures of myself but of others and things.
I love taking random photos, unaware and unexpected photographs of people, the environment etc.
I can't number how many times I have taken unaware photos of people, friends, and colleagues that came out really nice, and the joy that is usually registered on their faces gives me every accolade and satisfaction I need.

Yesterday we visited one of the secretariats in my state where we sought a chance to work with them doing our Student Industrial Work Experience. We left school right after our lecture and test and went in a group with my colleagues to the secretariat.
On arrival, I just couldn't resist the call of nature from the surroundings, and being an environmentalist too, nature will always call out to me whenever I am around it.

I did love the serenity of the environment. There are different ministries and units in the secretariat and the ministry we are looking forward to working with is the Ministry of Environment.
We were directed to where the head office was so we could submit our applications but before then, I quickly stole some shots of the entrance and the surrounding environment.

While I was taking random shots of the environment, the trees and everything my camera could pick or capture, I noticed someone posing for the camera, I was startled at first cause I didn't expect it, only for him to call out to me, smiled and pose at the camera asking if he was captured as well, I smiled back at him and then told him he actually did appear in one of my shots.

I went ahead and followed my colleagues to the office, they submitted their applications and forms, and then we were asked to come back some other time so we could meet with the commissioner and we would also know what was required of us doing the training days.

And just after the meeting with the office workers and staff, I was bent on taking some photographs of one of my colleagues who is also a photo lover.
She wouldn't mind posing for the camera anytime, anywhere, at any cost lol.
So yeah, I showed her a few modelling poses and asked her to try them while I captured them.
She was excited about it and didn't waste a second. We took as many shots as we possibly could and then headed out of the Ministry of Environment to the Ministry of Health where we met with my other colleagues who were waiting there for us.

Other than just going to the secretariat for school and work purposes, we had fun touring the premises, although we didn't do an intense tour because it was just our second time there.
I am sure that subsequently, during our training period and the course of our stay there, we will get to explore other interesting locations and views of the Ministry of Environment and even others too.

I spent my day satisfactorily, although I came back home feeling all tired and stressed because of all the movement we did in the secretariat and school even before we left for the secretariat.
As tiring as it was, it was worth it because we were able to meet the people we wanted to meet and we also knew what next we were to do.
It was an amazing and a little adventurous day for me and I am hoping that they will see more of me there.
This is my little documentary of my tour to the secretariat

PS: Photos are mine except stated otherwise, taken with my smartphone
