Fun with Kid's Carrera Racing Track

After almost one year, I finally started to work on the project "Clean up the family cellar" again today.
But very soon I was captivated by my great nieces' Carrera track. Over time, it had slid further and further back on this table, other things were stacked in front of it, it got dusty and no one played with it any more.
Nach fast einem Jahr habe ich heute endlich wieder begonnen am Projekt "Räume den Familien Keller auf" weiterzuarbeiten.
Aber sehr bald hat mich die Carrera Bahn meiner Großnichten in ihren Bann gezogen. Sie war im Laufe der Zeit auf diesem Tisch immer weiter nach hinten gerutscht, anderen Dinge wurden davor gestapelt, staubte ein und niemand hat mehr damit gespielt.

At the beginning the cars still got stuck because the contacts had not been used for such a long time, but with every push and drive it got better.
Anfangs blieben die Autos noch hängen weil die Konakte so lange nicht benutzt worden waren, aber mit jedem mal Anschieben und Fahren wurde es besser.

One, Two, Three, GO! ... well, it was just me there to play, so only one car in action, but it was still fun.
Auf die Plätze fertig los... naja es war nur ich da um zu Spielen, also nur ein Auto in Aktion, aber Spass hats dennoch gemacht.

Apart from the Pit Stop Boys and the tow truck, Sally Carrera was already my absolute superstar in the Cars film. Besides, Carreras "Car's cars" have better road holding than the Mario Cart cars and they don't run the risk of losing their heads while falling down.
Abgesehen von den Pit Stop Boys und dem Abschleppauto war Sally Carrera auch damals im Film Cars schon mein absoluter Superstar. Außerdem haben die Carrera Cars Autos eine bessere Straßenlage als die Mario Cart Autos und sie laufen nicht Gefahr ihren Kopf zu verlieren, wenn sie hinunter fallen.

It's just a wonderful game. You have fun and there's also a bit of competition to see who can drive better, it's just cool. Now we can only hope that the kids will take more interest in it again or that someone else will be willing to do a few laps with the old great-aunt, because doing the laps all by yourself is not necessarily the point.
Es ist einfach ein wunderbares Spiel. Man hat Spass auch ein wenig Konkurrenz wer besser fährt, einfach cool. Nun bleibt zu hoffen, dass die Kids sich wieder mehr dafür interessieren oder sich sonst jemand bereit erklärt mit der ollen Großtante ein paar Runden zu drehen, denn so ganz alleine die Runden zu drehen ist ja nicht unbedingt Sinn der Sache.

Und jetzt würde es mich sehr sehr interessieren welche Kindheitserinnerungen ich in euch geweckt habe? Beziehungsweise wo sind die großen Kinder, die sich auch im Erwachsenen Alter noch den Luxus einer Carrera Bahn leisten? ;-)
