Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
Welcome to my ATH (Ask the Hive) series that I created to increase the engagement level on Hive (or at least among my followers).
Originally, I thought I would host this series weekly (every Friday) but coming up with interesting questions that would elicit a lot of engagement and lively debates has actually proved to be a bit more difficult than I expected. Therefore, from now on, I am going to host this thing just randomly, whenever I will feel like I have a cool question to ask you :)
The question I have for you this time is:
What is your favorite TV series on Netflix right now?

I am definitely not a movie fanatic and we haven´t even had a TV in most of the apartments we have lived in over the past few years so I usually don´t care about what other people watch or what the latest movie hits are but you know, 2020 has been a very "special" year that has had an impact on practically everyone´s life... So here I am, asking you guys what Netflix series you would recommend. You cannot really do much outside these days here in Poland as most of the anti-pandemic measures are still in place and there is just a few hours of daylight here each day in this part of the year so we are actually quite glad we do have a TV in this apartment and that the owner has subscribed to Netflix.
So far, we have watched all seasons of Casa de Papel, some travel and culinary shows, a few documentaries, a bunch of biographical series about interesting people... Now we are finishing the first season of Vis a Vis. Most of the stuff we have seen so far was pretty good but I would really like to know what guys are watching and what you would recommend ;)

If you like anime, doomsday and weird-ass man-eating giants, I suggest you watch Attack on Titan.
Similarly, if you like to watch the romantic tension of two bright high school students who won't ask each other out because they think they'll lose to the other, watch Love is War. That anime series just gets more and more ridiculous each season 🤣🤣. (Tbh why can't they just date?)
For non-anime series, with a lot of R18 content, I suggest you watch You. It's sinister and sexy at the same time.

Barbarians (2020 TV series) a series with captivating episodes.
Not a big fan of history movies but this looks really interesting. Thank you :)
Many of the great historical films can be quite boring, but this is not the case with this production. Believe🙂 me, if you give a little time to the first episode, you will become addicted⚡ and you will want to watch more. The problem is that there are only 6 episodes available on the first season and the series is in progress.
You can still meet with 4 people ;)

Right now I am warching Star Trek: Discovery on Netflix.
I like sci fi films and these new Star Trek series are quite well done.
Wow are they still shooting new seasons ? I am not a fan of this iconic series but I remember so many of my friends were and that was literally decades ago :D Incredible persistence.
It is really incredible how they keep on producing new series and further developing the story. I wasn't a fan before, but I like the new ones.

finished The 100, watching Star Track discovery (not fully happy with it, but sucker for Sci-fi and i started it so...)
Narcos (everything connected to it) is a recommended if you are into that.
peaky blinders were recommended to me by people i trust, but never started.
Thanks for the tips! Well I am not into sci-fi so no Start Trek and The 100 for me but we watched all Narcos (while living in Mexico actually :D) and it was great. Never heard of Peaky Blinders...

I don't keep up with tv too much but I did watch the "breaking Bad" series, it was pretty good and addictive. I'm recently getting into something called "Godless" but I have only watched the first episode so I can't say how good it is.
Thanks for the tips! The Breaking Bad series has an exceptionally high ranking on the Czech version of IMDB (92%). Wow. Putting it on my list right now...
Wow eh, that's a high rank! I think it's pretty popular just about anywhere. It was a really well made series and there is a lot happening in just one hour episode.
I'm not really into watching the series that are popular either, the only one I'm watching now and it's because here they played it on TV and I was hooked, but since they stopped broadcasting it and I saw that it was on Netflix, I keep seeing it there: Resurrection Ertugrul, a series from Turkey
