En esta oportunidad les muestro a esta pareja de reptiles llamadas tortugas o morrocoy sabanero, son tortugas de patas rojas, se conocen por ser herbívoras y carroñeras, es una especie en peligro de extinción y protegida porque es costumbre para muchos campesinos comerlas, en el Oriente de Venezuela sobre todo.

In this opportunity I show you this pair of reptiles called turtles or morrocoy sabanero, they are red-legged turtles, they are known for being herbivorous and scavengers, it is an endangered species and protected because it is customary for many farmers to eat them, especially in the East of Venezuela.
- Las que muestro en las fotografías son una pareja muy antigua, que habitan en un área poblada pero boscosa, para muchas personas es muy común tenerlas en su patio, pero para mí verlas es como ver una antigüedad rodante, de hecho son pre-históricas se mueven muy lento y son muy mansas, se sabe que se debe tener cuidado con ellas porque cuentan un hocico muy fuerte , se les puede acariciar y jugar con ellas cuando son domesticadas, aunque son bastante tímidas, por lo general se esconden en su caparazón, se camuflan entre las plantas, son difíciles de encontrar, son sigilosas, logré capturar a esta vieja pareja porque están domesticadas, hasta observaron la cámara, son famosas por vivir muchos más años que nosotros.
