Any chain saw is a good chainsaw I guess, but these little DeWalt jobs are pretty cool!

I grew up with powered chainsaws but got to use one of these a little while back and was very impressed. As you say, you can really lean on the bar before the chain stalls and the longevity of the battery is pretty good. I don't know if it would go all day long, although with a spare battery pack or two you've be in business for a while I reckon. Clearly your inverter takes care of that scenario though.

I'd be confident to recommend one of these for a small-time homesteader or hobby-farmer for sure. I don't have one, no need just yet but I have access to one and am glad to have tried it out as it really surprised the hell ouyt of me.
