Hoy dudé mucho si subir este retrato ya que me paso algo extraño con este dibujo, siento que, aunque buscaba una expresión algo dolorosa termino viéndose un poco extraño. Incluso siento que tiene muchos rasgos masculinos para mi gusto jaja, no se en que falle, pero mientras pintaba lo veía bien y ya cuando termine todo sentía que algo estaba mal. Creo que lo único que puedo destacar y que si me gusto fueron los ojos y la paleta de color en general que utilicé. Espero que les guste.

Today I was hesitant to upload this portrait because something strange happened to me with this drawing. I feel that, although I was going for a somewhat painful expression, it ended up looking a little odd. I even feel like it has too many masculine features for my taste haha. I don't know what went wrong, but while I was painting it, it looked fine, and when I finished everything, I felt like something was off. I think the only thing I can highlight and that I did like were the eyes and the overall color palette I used. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realicé el boceto y comencé a pintar con sombras y luces en una gama de rosas, marrones y tonos piel claros. En una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle mejor forma al rostro y luego empezar a mezclar los colores, como lo he estado haciendo últimamente utilizando el pincel duro y una opacidad media para mantener algo de textura.

I sketched and began painting with shadows and highlights in a range of pinks, browns, and light skin tones. On a new layer, I added more colors to further shape the face and then began blending the colors, as I've been doing lately, using a hard brush and medium opacity to maintain some texture.

Poco a poco agregue mas detalles al rostro como zonas un poco rojizas y tambien algunas pecas en las mejillas y nariz, tambien pinte las cejas y pestañas. Para el cabello utilice un color negro y agregue iluminaciones con un azul bastante oscuro y desaturado, como color de fondo puse un tono rojo vibrante y luego se me ocurrió agregar un poco de textura al dibujo y para ello utilice un pincel con una textura muy extraña que ahora mismo ni recuerdo el nombre, y lo hice con un color rojo, jugué con los ajustes de la capa para que esta textura se mezclara con el dibujo. Tambien añadí iluminaciones en ojos, nariz y labios.

Little by little I added more details to the face like slightly reddish areas and also some freckles on the cheeks and nose, I also painted the eyebrows and eyelashes. For the hair I used a black color and added highlights with a fairly dark and desaturated blue, as a background color I used a vibrant red tone and then it occurred to me to add a little texture to the drawing. For this I used a brush with a very strange texture that right now I don't even remember the name, and I did it with a red color, I played with the layer settings so that this texture would blend with the drawing. I also added highlights to the eyes, nose and lips.
