It’s been 3 months since I last posted on here and it makes me sad when I think about it because I really enjoyed sharing my art here.
I fell ill which has been happening of and on since the year started. It made it difficult for me to draw/ paint as I was too weak and mentally drained also. The art I put out on other platforms was pretty much me forcing myself to create.
Those periods where I’d lay on my side dabbing paint on to a digital canvas kind of made me understand what notable artists like Frida Khalo & Claude Monet who created art even when they were not at their best health felt.
That time helped me understand the importance of rest. One could get so caught up trying to do everything while neglecting their health and eventually you’re forced to take a break when you don’t want to.
I’m hoping to manage my health better as time goes on while at the same I’ll put in my best effort to stay consistent with my art commitments which is my Textile art and illustration.
I had 6 more pages left in my mini sketch book, Which led me to challenge myself to create 6 illustrations with the time frame being 3 days before the month of August ended.
I was able to do it and I thoroughly enjoyed every process of it! Here are the illustrations

I’m more confident to post on here now because I believe I’m in a place where I can be more consistent and not miss out on days to blog. I’m at 80% recovery if I say so myself, but I’ll just keep creating till I’m at 100% ; )
