Sept-Amber Day 1: A jar full of honey

Good day Hivers,

This is Rooty the Forager, my original character I reimagined to fit the theme for today's drawing. This pig loves exploring the forest for some roots, berries, and this time honey.

This is my interpretation of the Sept-Amber day 1 prompt a jar full of honey. I depicted Rooty holding a big jar of honey walking in the woods to visit a friend and gift this sweet golden liquid.

the season has just changed the colors of the leaves turning golden and red and brown with some mushrooms on tree barks

Like I said this is an existing character so I already have an idea how it looks like here I was able to quickly do a sketch

I made sure the jar is visible being the main theme of this drawing before finalizing the line drawing

I had to bring the original Rooty for reference and consistency in color and look although I can change the colors depending on the theme.

I did change the colors a bit like in this finished look of Rooty

It would not look autumn without a proper background so I started choosing a color intended for that look and doodled this forest scene with trees, grass and mushroom

Here is the completed background I filled all the details with necessary colors to work with fall theme then put Rooty in the middle just how it appears above. Hope you like it
