As always, the first thing I do after having the sketch ready is to attack the skin, I started by placing the base color, with a strong color, to illuminate the face step by step, in this way I feel that I get a different finish on the skin I think it's more realistic. It was a challenging skin type, lots of shadows in very localized areas, with a good amount of shine on the right side.

Como siempre lo primero que hago después de tener el boceto listo es atacar la piel, comencé colocando el color base, con un color fuerte, para ir iluminando la cara paso a paso, de esta manera siento que consigo un acabado diferente en la piel, considero que queda mas realista. Fue un tipo de piel desafiante, muchas sombras en zonas muy localizadas, con una buena cantidad de brillo del lado derecho.

As the hair covers a large part of the canvas, I decided to start with this one before continuing to work on the skin, by far it was one of the resources that took the most time for illustration, it's interesting because you always get a different result, something unique always comes out, Besides being relatively complicated, I love it, I would like to master this technique and make a realistic enough fire, I also took advantage of finishing the details of the face, especially the eyes, I wanted something bright and striking.

Como el cabello cubre gran parte del lienzo decidí comenzar con este antes de seguir trabajando la piel, por lejos fue de los recursos que mas tiempo se llevo de la ilustración, es interesante porque siempre se obtiene un resultado diferente, siempre sale algo único, ademas de ser relativamente complicado, me encanta, me gustaría masterizar esta técnica y hacer un fuego lo suficientemente realista, también aproveche de ir terminando los detalles del rostro, especialmente los ojos, quería algo brillante y llamativo.

I was undecided about what to make clothes to cover the chest, until it occurred to me to make a small stone armor with lava, all this was done in Krita and it also took time, it wasn't really fast, it's another of the resources that I need to practice, the rocks. After this, start with the lighting and shading work on the body.

Estaba indeciso sobre que hacer de ropa para tapar el pecho, hasta que se me ocurrió hacerle una pequeña armadura de piedra con lava, todo esto fue hecho en Krita y también se tomo su tiempo, no fue rápido la verdad, es otro de los recursos que necesito practicar, las rocas. Posterior a esto pase con el trabajo de iluminación y sombreado en el cuerpo.

Again I took a little pause to give a decent texturing to the fire and a pretty good lighting job too, you always have to create a couple of layers with the opacity low to create that glow effect that the fire generates, lastly there were a few small ones sparks scattered across the canvas, as well as placing a kind of dark sky, with fire around it.

Nuevamente tome una pequeña pausa para dar un texturizado decente al fuego y un trabajo de iluminación bastante bueno también, siempre hay que crear un par de capas con la opacidad baja para crear ese efecto de resplandor que genera el fuego, por ultimo fueron unas pequeñas chispas esparcidas por el lienzo, además de colocar una especie de cielo oscuro, con fuego alrededor.
