in Sketchbook β€’ last month (edited)

Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blessed day to everyone. Welcome to my blog! let me share with you this artwork that I painted just a while ago. This is still made of coffee powder. I called this art "The Pondscape Stillness"

This piece is an enchanting artwork that beautifully captures the meaning or essence of untroubleness. This painting portrays a stillness pond, creating a harmonious ambiance.

I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this piece.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

Materials Needed:
πŸ‘‰ Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
πŸ‘‰ Pencil and Eraser
πŸ‘‰ Coffee Powder
πŸ‘‰ 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
πŸ‘‰ Ruler
πŸ‘‰ Clean Water
πŸ‘‰ Rag
πŸ‘‰ Paper napkin or paper towel

Brushes:
πŸ‘‰ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
πŸ‘‰ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
πŸ‘‰ Filbert brush

Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
β€’ Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
β€’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β€’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β€’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β€’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β€’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.

Painting Process:

This is the finished artwork of "The Pondscape Stillness" with a coffee painting.
