A new Illustration for my Animal Series and Considering some of their stories set in New England

A follower of mine on my other social media had mentioned she'd hoped I'd start some of my characters set in my area. I can't help but write my characters in dear old England, as i've always felt one foot in both New and Olde England.

For whatever reason my first inclination was to create a Doyenne of the quiet closed society of the ole' Brahmins in Boston in an Owl just came to me ,not sure why.

It was rather kismet, her commenting that idea, as I'd had penned in the margins of my art journals "Start some Cape Cod Boston Characters" so having heard the suggestion from others had made me want to do so.

Tho, the story did not come to me so easily, as my England stories have, I'm happily going to start creating some characters this week that I feel could people up the Cape and Boston and hope that their stories come to me.

Of course, I'm not creating these pieces FOR a stories per se, but I do love having little vignettes of their lives jotted down in story format. I'm excited to see what a collection of them might look like by the year's end.
