Big Bad Pete

Two weeks back, I saw one gangster like version of Big Bad Pete in my brothers gallery and I loved the way it was positioned. The map out and colouring wasn’t precise but still it was clear enough to draw from. It was when I was making this piece that I came to the realization that my graphite lead was still as potent as it has always been. The depth I got was very encouraging and I couldn’t overstate my happiness at the result.

This depth discovery will birth new forms, I hope. I also tried editing one in a warm tone as seen below. That infact was how I wanted the sketch to be but I noticed the depth wasn’t too visible in that light.
