MONEY ART: SALVADOR DALÍ PORTRAIT WITH ACRYLIC PAINTING [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, I hope you are very well, this time I want to show my last drawing made on paper money, it is about the Spanish painter Salvador Dalí, one of the greatest exponents of Surrealism, I chose this great artist to talk a little about what I think of what it means to have an illusion, or live an illusion, to participate in the Talent Encounter contest. I will be attaching the images of the process and instead of explaining how I did it, I will briefly comment on my reflections. Let's get started!

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, en esta oportunidad quiero mostrar mi último dibujo realizado sobre papel moneda, se trata del pintor español Salvador Dalí, uno de los máximos exponentes del Surrealismo, escogí a este gran artista para hablar un poco sobre lo que opino de lo que significa tener una ilusión, o vivir una ilusión, para participar en el concurso de Encuentro de Talentos. Iré adjuntando las imágenes del proceso y en lugar de explicar como lo hice, comentaré brevemente mis reflexiones. Comencemos!

Thinking about the meaning of an illusion can take us down many paths, the first is imagination, it also takes us through the world of desires, hopes and dreams, even faith, the truth is that an illusion is like a tree that it has many branches and in any of them we can find plenty and shelter. Seeing it this way I have always lived with great enthusiasm, as a child fantasies covered my thoughts, and today they have not disappeared but have matured with me. Every thing I think about is full of hope, either to feed my desires and materialize what I hope for, hence, like Dalí, I live daydreaming.

Pensar en el significado de una ilusión nos puede llevar por muchos caminos, el primero es la imaginación, también nos lleva por el mundo de los deseos, las esperanzas y sueños, incluso la fe, lo cierto es que una ilusión es como un árbol que tiene muchas ramas y en cualquiera de ellas podemos encontrar sobra y refugio. Viéndolo de esta forma siempre he vivido con mucha ilusión, de niño las fantasías cubrían mis pensamientos, y en la actualidad no han desaparecido sino que han madurado conmigo. Casa cosa en la que pienso está cargada de ilusión ya sea para alimentar mis deseos y materializar lo que espero, de ahí que como Dalí, vivo soñando despierto.

We must also consider what they say about illusions, they can be good when they help us visualize that comforting reality that we want, but they can also be a prison if we only use them to evade reality and not face it. Salvador Dalí once said: "I declare the independence of the imagination and the right of men to their own madness", I think that the imagination is a bridge between the flesh and the spirit, between the sensible and the intangible, between reality and the dreams. Living with illusions I can then consider it a vehicle of being, to find its own reason for existence.

También hay que considerar lo que dicen de las ilusiones, pueden ser buenas cuando nos ayudan a visualizar esa realidad reconfortante que deseamos, pero también pueden ser una prisión si solo las utilizamos para evadir la realidad y no enfrentarla. Salvador Dalí dijo una vez: "Declaro la independencia de la imaginación y el derecho del hombres a su propia locura", pienso que la imaginación es un puente entre la carne y el espíritu, entre lo sensible y lo intangible, entre la realidad y los sueños. Vivir con ilusiones puedo considerarlo entonces un vehículo del ser, para encontrar su propia razón de existencia.

I consider that my illusions have been many, I would be lying if I did not say that I have thought of many material things, since they are necessary, however, over time I have learned to give more value to the good moments and to learn from the bad ones, with the illusion of being able to move forward. and grow as a person. One of my biggest hopes is to be able to paint a legendary work, maybe I'll never do it, but each drawing I do is like a step I take until I reach that dream, maybe I'll spend drawing all my life without achieving it, so it can be that I understand it better at the end of the road. Just like surrealism in those years, illusions and dreams can help us see reality in a different way, not everything has to be concrete, countable or objective, it can also be the fog of our thoughts and delusions of our reason.

Considero que mis ilusiones han sido muchas, mentiría sino dijera que he pensado en muchas cosas materiales, pues son necesarias, sin embargo con el tiempo he aprendido a darle más valor a los momentos buenos y a prender de los malos, con la ilusión de poder avanzar y crecer como persona. Una de mis mas grandes ilusiones es poder pintar una obra legendaria, tal vez nunca lo haga, pero cada dibujo que hago es como un paso que doy hasta llegar a concretar esa ilusión, tal vez pase dibujando toda mi vida son lograrlo, así que puede ser que lo comprenda mejor al final del camino. Así como el surrealismo en aquellos años, las ilusiones y sueños pueden ayudarnos a ver la realidad una manera diferente, no todo tiene que ser concreto, contable u objetivo, también puede ser niebla de nuestros pensamientos y delirios de nuestra razón.

Salvador Dalí insisted on painting many of his dreams, and I think it is simply impossible, when we dream, when we wake up we only remember slight flashes of what we lived in our limbo, so it is difficult to accurately reproduce a dream. In the same way, illusions are separated from reality because there was the world of ideas, something very much like the theories of the philosopher Plato, so when we think about our illusions, by bringing them to reality we may only be able to materialize a little bit of reality. them, but not all exactly. But that is not bad, it is impossible to translate the language of the unconscious, our conscious mind through language gives meaning to our follies, what is truly important is to keep alive in our hearts that flame of madness that helps us to dream and live with hope, Either with a better future, with being forever with our loved ones, the important thing is to keep dreaming because that means that we are alive.

Salvador Dalí insistía en pintar muchos de sus sueños, y creo que es sencillamente imposible, cuando soñamos, al despertar solo recordamos leves destellos de lo que vivimos en nuestro limbo, así que es dificil reproducir con exactitud un sueño. De la misma forma, las ilusiones se separan de la realidad porque habían el mundo de las ideas, algo muy de las teorías del filósofo Platón, así que cuando pensamos en nuestras ilusiones, al llevarlas a la realidad puede que solo podamos materializar un poco de ellas, pero no todas con exactitud. Pero eso no está mal, es imposible traducir el lenguaje del inconsciente, nuestra mente consciente a través del lenguaje le da sentido a nuestras locuras, lo verdaderamente importante es mantener viva en nuestros corazones esa llama de locura que nos ayuda a soñar y vivir ilusionados, ya sea con un futuro mejor, con estar por siempre con nuestros seres queridos, lo importante es mantenerse soñando porqu eso quiere decir que estamos vivos.

We can choose, live with hope, and turn our hopes into reality, I believe that we should live with hope while we work so that everything becomes a reality, and everything we achieve is a step to continue ascending. Podemos elegir, vivir ilusionados, y convertir nuestras ilusiones en realidad, yo creo que se debe vivir ilusionado al mismo tiempo que trabajamos para que todo se haga realidad, y todo lo que logremos sea un escalón para seguir ascendiendo.
