Check this out! TWO- STOREY RESIDENTIAL HOUSE

in Sketchbook4 years ago

Hello! How are you everyone? I hope you are all having a good day!

It's been more than two weeks since my last post here. I haven't post any activities here on hive because online class has started a week ago and I've been kinda busy. And I need to adjust myself to the new style of learning. Online class is harder than the actual traditional class in school but there is nothing I can do about it. As an architecture student, I really had a lot of things on my plate. I really need to manage my time. I kinda miss posting my drawings, paintings and portraits here. :<

To be honest, the life of an architecture student is totally busy and tiring. All assignments like model-making, presentation board, drawings, sketches, reports, portfolio and even final examinations could kill, anytime, anywhere. It’s kind of funny, but almost every college student knows that architecture students stay up all night and work endless hours each week. It’s a mystery to them because they don’t understand how our “homework” takes that long.

Since it's been a long time when I had my last post here, I want to share this throwback project for today. It was a scale model of a two-storey residential house. I designed this house when I was in first year. The concept of this was to use local materials that can be found in the Philippines. So you would notice that most part of the house was made in using woods.

Check the details and look how the grass is so green and kinda look realistic. :>
